very cute Lynne...I see a zipper mixed in with your selvages Wink I'll try to be here, but don't have any selvages as I donated them to a friend, but wondering if I could just use small strips of fabric?

I'm not sure how that zipper got mixed up w/ the selvage strips but you do NOT need a zipper...thanks Trish for noticing that...lol!!

Not sure about using strips of fabric cause of the raw edges...this is NOT made like a string quilt! Trish, maybe you can borrow a few of your selvages back...??

Sash you can get the Carabiner {green thing in pic} and the Cordlock {small black thing in pic} in any craft store. Fabric stores would have them also. The carabiner you can find in lots of stores, often right by the cashier.

You can get a box of 4 of the cordlocks {black thing} at Walmart for about 58c and the carabiners {green thing} anywhere...box stores, home depot or lowes, joann's, any hardware store, maybe even a dollar store. They are easy to find!

The heart carabiner {seen in the pic of finished cover} came from JA's in a pkg of 6 or 8 for about $3-$4, I think.

Hope everyone is getting their supplies together...class will start tomorrow night at 8p EST! Be there OR be square!! Big Grin

Sash, I just saw carabiners in Target the other day. They were in the camping supply aisle. I think they wanted about 3 bucks for a package of two?

I'll be watching to see if you can use "regular yardage" (one big cut piece of fabric) for this project, too.

Thanks all; I looked at Walmart, but forgot what they were called so just looked for them and couldn't find them; didn't ask because I had no correct name for them and doubt they would know what I was talking about. lol. Hubby was with me and I was kind of in a hurry. Will get out and go look for them in a bit. Hope I can do this.
