Absolutely beautiful! The colors in here just pop. Love it. I have been planning one. Thanks for the encouragement.

Can I ask how long your longest block is? I am thinking of using a pack of FQ's and wonder if they are long enough or should I buy a several pieces of "yardage" to get the long ones.

I love the elongated blocks and shadows. I have a pattern in one of my quilting mags from a few years ago that uses squares of color. Might have to rethink that one.

I really like the colors you used in this quilt, I've seen a few pics of others, but the colors in this one are great. Now, of course, I have to add this to my to do list.

The border, after i got it, seemed to clash with it,(the flowers)..so a friend suggested i add the small dark purple border, to give it some space..and i think it worked.

i loved the fabric line and the flowers! Moda "Simple Pleasures"

Will Quilt for Chocolate helped me with picking out the pattern "Shadow Box". Her mom did one.

Evelyn B made one..i think it was in purples and pinks maybe.? with small shadow blocks off to the side of the main quilt. it was beautiful..it was inspiring!

Really nice quilts ladies. You all did a great job! Seeing such nice quilts made me realize, I haven't finished anything in ages. I am a block maker I think. And I need to get in gear.
