Fabric Envelopes:

http://www.incolororder.com/20...torial-giveaway.html

Click on "fun accessories project" in pink, and then on that new page, click on "Download Jeni Baker - Fabric Envelopes." That will take you to a .pdf file with full instructions & pictures. I like the idea of adding Velcro, one piece of which you'd have to sew on the front before the sides are sewn shut. You know the routine for sewing Velcro pieces by now...

Couldn't you see these envelopes as gift certificate envelopes, or envelopes for a special handmade card (that you hand-deliver), or envelopes for those coupon flyers that always pile up & slide around on the front seat of the car (JoAnn, BB&B, etc.)? Just re-size the envelopes according to your needs.

This is a "quickie" gift idea or bazaar idea, and we all love those, so round up those scraps see what you can make. Christmas is coming & the goose is getting fat! Smile

Those are cute! I'm going to print and try some out after I finish my challenge quilt. I have to stay focused, since we are less than four weeks away from the deadline Eek.

Last year, my grandsons teacher made fabric envelopes..someone EMB their first names on the flap. they took their papers home in them..
The teacher hand some sort of hanging holder thing, with each envelope in it's own slot. it was soo cool! They used velcro and a hvy duty yellow fabric. they looked just like these.
Thanks for the link! Awesome!
