I have been looking for the new thread on Abbie's quilt blocks. I found a thread but it had over 1200 views & it was locked.

I noticed on it Pause4quilts had a lovely virtual quilt showing many of the blocks made so far. It was posted Oct 16th but I only found it tonight. Now I am wondering if a new thread has been started & I am real anxious to see the next update of the quilt Pause4quilts is posting for it. Thanks Pause for doing this & posting it for Quilts"R"Fun & all of us to see & enjoy.

Edited to read Here Is instead of Where Is. Also including a link to the locked thread & Pause4Quilts virtual quilt from back when there were just the first few blocks completed.

After it was closed I didn't start a new one. I didn't want to get "too many" blocks. So far, 47 6.5" blocks have come. I've been posting pics on the PM thread. My camera isn't taking clear pics for some reason. I'll start a new thread soon.

If you didn't know how old you were, would you worry about how old you are?

Her surgery went well. I'll know more when I get back from church today. We're having about 20 people over today for a singing.fellowship in the backyard. I'll post my findings after everyone leaves.

Thanks for the reply Quilts"R"Fun. I will go back & edit this to read "Here Is" instead of "Where is". I read on the PM thread different posts that mentioned "the main board" & I thought there was a thread on the MB that I could not locate. Thanks, I will follow the progress on the PM. Wow 47 blocks! & I bet there are still more to come. I know my mail usually takes forever to get where it is going.

I'm stealing a minute here. We still have company. Abbie is resting at home and doing well. She should go back for a follow-up in a couple weeks.

I think there are 7 more names left on the list of people who said they would make her a block or two. As soon as those come, I'll start setting the quilt together.

Thanks for starting a new thread...

Kentucky_Sunshine...your hasn't arrived yet. I'll post when they do.

I'm so tired today. I've overdone myself over the weekend. I'll be doing nothing today so that I can get rested up! My house is still clean even after having over 20 people here yesterday. Most stayed outside except for an occasional trip to use the "facilities".

Three envelopes came today. I've updated the list in PMs. I'll post pics later. We now have 50 - 6.5" blocks.

It is cold in Tennessee today! I'm normally hot natured and never wear a jacket/coat. I had to put on a jacket today. It's only 49 and it feels really damp/cold. I've already been into the hot chocolate and am wrapped up in a quilt! I haven't turned on the heat yet though. It's suppose to be in the low 30's tonight. I did bring my house plants inside. Looks like we're back to seasonal weather again.

No blocks have come in a couple days. I didn't go to church tonight. DD had alot of homework and I've felt bad the last three days. When DH gets home from church, he should have a report on Abbie.

My block has been gone long enough to be there by now, perhaps it will show up soon. Great news to hear that so many blocks were received & waiting to hear good news on abbies recovery.

I will be home tomorrow so I will sew up 4 blocks and send them out. Not complicated but very girly and colorful. Leave each block as is or join as a set.

Abbie is still doing well.

Lensews2...maybe they'll come today. No blocks have come in the last couple days.

michelle1538....don't sew them together as one block. I'll spread them around in the quilt.
