Hey ladies!

I'm thinking about swaps for 2009... y'all know I like to plan ahead! Smile

So here are my ideas, would you please rate them in order of 'most interested' to 'least interested'. #1 being the one you would want to join for sure. Wink

1. Reviving the red/white block swap. Using the block Hen & Chicks.BLOCK

2. A Jewel Box block swap using our repro 30's and white (or wow) Jewel Box Block pattern

3. A blue/white block swap. 12 inch blocks in stars only.

4. Dark florals~ I haven't forgotten, just not sure of the block yet.

5. An oriental block swap...using oriental fabrics, not sure of the block yet. Wink

And that should cover the whole year!! Big Grin Big Grin

4 & 5 most likely. I don't think I have any 30's unless some of my moda pack would count. Well there is always stash-adding I guess Wink

Blue & white stars is something I've been wanting to do for a long time (the new F & P mag has a pretty one in batiks - well, purples and light blue). And I'd love the red & white one.

I'm anxious to get back into swapping. What about applique?!?

Red and white are tops on my list, after batiks of course. So I would probably try that one, if I can figure out how to do the block.

Are you not going to do the Autumn squares swap again? I loved that swap and need more squares.

Well I guess I will state my preference like everyone else. With that being said, I like #3 blue and white; #5 oriental (hopefully 9" mixed blocks, I have an Asian pattern book with this size and would love to give it a try).

Thanks for asking our preferences.

Susan

I'm with you Owie - love that autumn swap. Maybe the fabric swaps are different to the block swaps and still on her list Smile
