What a wonderful feeling to do such a good thing at this time of year. They were so tickled and are going to put one in the care packages they will be handing out. Now I need to work on making more to deliver.

I know you are feeling mighty good now, but nothing compared to the people who get your quilts. They will so greatful that someone cared enough to make them a quilt. Blessings to you. Pat

Very Thoughtful indeed, I agree with Lindsay, may you be blessed as much as you give. I will say one thing...I was blessed as a child with more than one care package, Christmas baskets from the church, and fire department...and I was so very grateful for the warm jacket, mittens and gloves I received, and food and fruit...one year there was a handmade quillow and I adored it, it went everywhere I did, sadly when my grandmas house burnt it did too, but it served me for many years! Some sweet soul made that to donate, and if she only knew how her thoughtfulness and kind heart warmed my heart and body for many years...one never knows how their kindness will touch lives!

Hugs

Wow, that's a lot of quilts.
Kentucky - thanks for posting that. I know I often wonder how the donated quilts are received.

Not sure how long it took me. Several of them I found as UFO's in the basement. And then one was found in the bottom of my china closet, I just had to take it out and finish it. There are several more UFO's downstairs. There would have been more but I started working 1-2 days more a week for the last few months. That will end at the end of the year. DD gave me a bunch of scraps yesterday.

I don't think I have made 33 quilts in my life! That is a generous gift you gave Owie.

It gave me a few warm fuzzies. There are 3 more charity quilts that I hope to be able to make. Two will be raffled off for emergency services and then I'll be doing one for the Susan G. Komen race again next fall. I am so blessed to be asked to do these.
