Great projects everyone. So far my stash-busting project isn't a quilt but these for a baby gift. I do the lazy daisy, DH laces them up and then I tie the bows. Lets just say we have been in Florida for 13 years and these moved here from Texas with us... Chris

It is always so nice to come here. So many wonderful, beautiful projects.

I debated if I should post my projects from my stash since they are posted elsewhere but I said, "what the heck". If anyone looked at my 'Trying' thread, you know I made two really cute treat bags for my DGGS. And they truly came from my stash, every tiny bit of them. lollll

Finally! Back in the sewing room after a summer of fun in the sun -riding and camping. Other then the StT challenge, I didn't get much done this summer.

Here's one item just completed combining my stash and someone elses. Using some blocks that were donated to the Caring Quilters group - I had to tear apart the blocks already made and make some new ones from the little bit of fabric that came with the blocks. Then the sashing, back, etc are from my stash.

Love looking at and admiring every one's projects.

Here's 3 tied items - 2 cheater panels and the other made from panels. All Panels were given to me from someone's stash and the backings and added fabric is from mine. Had quickly enveloped them to tie while camping... HA! never touched them - too busy socializing and riding.

Have also completed 12 Sunshine blocks for the monthly hostesses.

Handie Ann = how big is that quilt top? It looks perfect for a couple of wedding quilts I need to make. Where'd you get the pattern?

pausforquilts - if you don't post it here you don't get entered for the monthly prize drawing so Thanks for Sharing Smile

Oh & my Project Quilting/Needlework challenge is all from stash. I can't show it here until the voting is over though...but here's a picture of it if you want to see it Big Grin http://www.flickr.com/photos/4...s/72157631797784639/

Gonesewin, The top is about 45" square but you can always add more borders. This is a 2012 fall mystery quilt by Cindy Carter http://carterquilter.wordpress.com/
Some of the ladies here made this quilt when we were at the retreat. I strated it one night (late) and finished it up the next morning. It realy is very simple to make.

This is one of my favorite threads to visit. I love to see what everyone makes from fabric that they have had hoarded, ops, I mean "stashed" away. It encourages me to actually use some of what I have on hand.

I don't get much time to sew lately since I have returned to work & I miss it something awful. I did make a mug rug for the Autum/Halloween swap but that did not use much of my stash. I resolve to sew more in November even if I have to take time off work to do it.

I can't show my stashbuster because it's my 12 days of Christmas gifts. Anyway, I used about 3yds of fabric and 1 1/2 yds of cotton batting. My thread was stash also. Hope everyone that gets one likes them!

Finished up quilting my table runner and placemats from the PJ party - all from 1-1/2 yds of fabric. Now, I did buy the top fabric just for this, but used backing from stash (leftover wide quilt backing fabric) and pieced scraps of warm & natural batting! so I'm counting it as half stashbusting.

Rainbow, what a darling little girl. Makes you just want to squeeze her to pieces!

Lots of great postings this month.

Finally got brave and changed the thread on the serger twice last night to get the pillowcases done. The tannish one goes with the last string fun & done quilt I did and the rest are just the regular ones for QWL... Chris
