Isn't It Amazing? Fabric Coordinate!
Two years ago while in Mt. View AR I purchased two pieces of fabric from the LQS, The Quilting Bee. DH and I spent some time in Mt. View and, of course, I made another stop at QB. Lo and behold, in the sale rack was a piece of fabric that I thought matched what I purchased a couple of years ago, but was fairly positive that it would at least coordinate.

When I got it home, it's not the same fabric line or manufacturer...but what do you think?

The two top pieces were purchased back then...1 yard cuts.

The piece on the back, recent purchase...2 yard cut.

I can do better than that. This month I've bought three fabrics out of town(afraid I'd never see it locally). Got home and discovered all three in my stash! Almost embarrassing. LOL Yours will make a lovely quilt.

I'm waiting on inspiration. Wink I do wish I had 2 yards of the fabric on the left...I would do a 4-patch posie.

For the time being, it will be in the stash closet. I've got two more ABC quilts to quilt before Christmas. And...decided I needed to do something for DSs GFs 3 DDs. I have some rescued blocks I think will work for a quick job. I'll have to promise the girls that when DS and GF get their ducks in a row and get a bigger home where the girls will have their own bed (sleeping 3 in a king bed right now) that I will let them shop in my stash for a quilt of their own.

And...I want to find my doll-skin fabric to make a doll for DGD for her birthday. And maybe a couple of extra dolls for later...

They look great. Isn't is nice when fabric is around long enough for you to collect pieces that play well together. I really dislike when manufacturers decide that we "need" a whole different look every season or year.

... looking good - isn't it fun when we can put things together like that .. with time and distance and memory all working in our favor!
Funny you mentioned 4 patch posie, I haven't done one in years and have some pretty new fabric I was thinking that might just be what i need to do with it and pretend I had a plan all along (the purchase was totally random and not at all where I usually lean!) Keep us posted ... perhaps there is another piece in your immediate future to use with that floral Smile
.....................it's not identical - but looks good

LOL I'm pretty sure you can crop off most of that .. I went to fabric locator - 350000 - entered daisies with leaves on blue ....

City/Sandie - Did not think about looking for more fabric. DUH! I'll have to do that.

The first two pieces are
1914 He Loves Me by Jackie Robinson & MaywoodStudio.

The third piece is
Fluttering Wings & Playful Things (c) Cynthia Coulter Wilmington Prints.

Wow, you are one lucky lady to find all of that! I think they coordinate perfectly.

That is unbelievable. Congrats on finding the fabric, and now a pattern. I can hear that machine humming right along. Good luck.

I made the Double Dutch a few years ago in the red fabrics... backed and bound it with the plaid.

The new fabric really is perfect with your others!
