Not quilting related, but I thought with, so many talented people on this board someone could help me. I am in charge of the sewing circle at my church, but to more get people involved we trying to start a new group with some people painting, knitting,etc and others helping me tie our charity quilts. I need some suggestions for a name for this qroup. My DH suggestion was the SEXY OLD LADIES GROUP. I have to come up with something better than that. Thanks for your help | ||

We have a "Fiber Arts" group starting in my community. you could always go with SOL and make sure that you use "proper" words for those that would be offended, all knowing that you know the correct title! Lots o' Knots! with color Madelyn | |||

Heav-enly Stitchers (There's an old church building here - they built a new one. It's been several things since the church moved. Shame it's not in a better location and I 'wanted' to step out and do it - but I think a quilt shop called Heav-enly Stitches would be perfect housed in that building!) Sorry - reread your original post and you mentioned painters. Soul Sisters mentioned above sounds more appropriate to me.
