Sue, got mine yesterday, didn`t get a chance to post till now! I love it, it is the beach and that is me through and through. I mailed yours out today. I like how it came out.

Ops, forgot to comment on the little froggie one. I just love the lettering you can do with an embroidery machine. Surely the lettering was not done by hand? Your froggie is appliqued on isn't he? He is so cute.

I signed on a while ago...wanted to let City/Sandie know I'll be mailing your "late"! mug rug tomorrow...it just kept talking to me...then to find a ride to PO....
anyhoo....I signed on started looking for thread and then oh,that looks interesting...oh and some quilty things for a quilter who lost everything...hmmmm have to think on that my stash is all in CA...oh and new way for ties what is that...have to go to store neighbor is going right now...off to store back bro/cuz hungry...fix coconut shrimp...(frozen) discussion on if he liked these as well as ones from Kroger...back here...now what about those ties...oooh pretty...like the pattern...look up Rana's name...oh she has a blog...oooh pincushions!!! Cute...and tutorials...OH! continuous prairie points....oh yeah I need to compare prices on the shrimp...call friend of Bro/cuz...(she bought him the same shrimp at Kroger...12 to package for $4.99....these were 9 in the package for $6.99! )
oh...need to call several people.....before it is too late....not home 2. not home...3...somehow wrong#...okay I'll call DD....so what if I called her yesterday and the day b4???....1/2 hr....call another friend...1 hr....back inside come back to computer OH! So then tomorrow would have been Friday but since yesterday was Wed...well you get the picture
I don't know why I am always getting my days mixed up...lose a day here...gain a day there... :

..... TAAA DAaa... my Summer fun mug rug is here and it is adorable ... there is fancy stitching, there is lots of applique, palm trees and sand dunes and sail boat - and ocean - that sun has sunglasses and embroidery and check out the smile!!! now that's just the front ....

...ok - now the back .. hand embroidered bleeding hearts, and hand quilting and appliqued flowers that I forgot the name of and I have growing infront of my house - and the label has more appliques, and her name is embroidered to look like grass!
I am sooooo impressed and so thrilled - but how am I EVER going to set anything on it!

Oh Sandie I am so glad you like it... I had SEW much fun with this! I had not planned it very well so ended up chopping off some of the flowers...oh well...can't tell... and had to fill in so made the little piece and thought "wouldn't it be cute to embroider my name as grass and add the swap name somewhere???" If I hadn't done that I don't know how I would have signed it or where!
I loved the sun picture as soon as I found it and did my best with the inspiration

... it was so worth the delay - I'm sorry you had issues in there - but you got a great mugrug to me .. I love it
