Update - October 16th
elainetoo has taken over as listmom for the group and has made her own page and photo albums. I'm pasting the links here

SunShine Quilters:

SunShine Photos:

I've deleted the old website and photo album so there isn't any confusion.

Thanks!!

Just finished my S to T challenge and quilting a Quilt for Kids right now. I'm getting all set for the overflowing mailbox full of Louisana blocks for October and November! Smile

All quilts made with these blocks will be donated to "Running Strong for Native American Youths." I'm hoping to make at least ten quilts, so any help you can give me would be much appreciated!

I will keep a tally of blocks donated and photos will be posted on the Sunshine album in my signature below.

***72 SO FAR!***

*Char77-12
*KC1930-28 (so MUCH fun you can't stop making them!) Smile
*pvillelou-7
*Ajne-3
*Charmingsister-4
*Terrimae-4
*Elainetoo-8
*Fayejean-6

I'm glad I saw this comment because I forgot to mail the ones I made for you. I'll get them off by at least tomorrow. I think I ended up with 7 blocks.

The meeting I had on my schedule for tomorrow just got cancelled so I won't be going to town. That means I won't get the blocks mailed as soon as I thought - but they will be coming your way sometime.

Just wanted to let you know, I'm still out camping and will let everyone know when I get home about the September blocks I expect are awaiting me in my mail.

In another week I'll get back on 'quilting' schedule and plan on getting some blocks done for the last few months.

OK, life seems to be reaching a point of settling down so I hope to get to doing blocks from now to next Tuesday, when they can be mailed out.

KC - made these the last couple days for Oct and Nov - should be mailed early next week.

Anyone I didn't get blocks to this summer, please let me know if you need any more. And I have Dec to do.. Then I can get to my local group charity items and the QOV for the 2013 retreat.

Thank you so much, Elainetoo! I will let you know once they arrive. I can't wait to set the block all out and start working on these quilts. My goal in 2013 is to complete between 20-30 charity quilts!

These are for Elaine. I hope to make a few more before mailing - she's making quilts for one of my favorite places to donate quilts (Quilts of Valor).
