Update - October 16th
elainetoo has taken over as listmom for the group and has made her own page and photo albums. I'm pasting the links here
I've deleted the old website and photo album so there isn't any confusion.
Thanks!!This message has been edited. Last edited by: char77,
October??? WOW - these last couple months have flown by. I have 3 GK's quilts to finish by Christmas - wish me luck!!
How is everyone doing?
Just finished my S to T challenge and quilting a Quilt for Kids right now. I'm getting all set for the overflowing mailbox full of Louisana blocks for October and November!
All quilts made with these blocks will be donated to "Running Strong for Native American Youths." I'm hoping to make at least ten quilts, so any help you can give me would be much appreciated!
I will keep a tally of blocks donated and photos will be posted on the Sunshine album in my signature below.
***72 SO FAR!***
*KC1930-28 (so MUCH fun you can't stop making them!)

I'm glad I saw this comment because I forgot to mail the ones I made for you. I'll get them off by at least tomorrow. I think I ended up with 7 blocks.
Great! I really appreciate them!
The meeting I had on my schedule for tomorrow just got cancelled so I won't be going to town. That means I won't get the blocks mailed as soon as I thought - but they will be coming your way sometime.
No rush...they will get here when they get here!
Just wanted to let you know, I'm still out camping and will let everyone know when I get home about the September blocks I expect are awaiting me in my mail.
In another week I'll get back on 'quilting' schedule and plan on getting some blocks done for the last few months.
OK, life seems to be reaching a point of settling down so I hope to get to doing blocks from now to next Tuesday, when they can be mailed out.
Oct. blocks in the mail.
Thank you Ajne!
Pvillelou, your bright and cheery blocks arrived on a gloomy Maine day! Many thanks
October & November blocks mailed today. Post office predicts Saturday delivery
Ajne, your blocks arrived today! Many thanks!
I've updated the message for the month. Please see the first post
I was SO excited to see two batches of blocks in the mail!
Here are some beauties from Terrimae...
...and some adorable monkey blocks from Charmingsister!
So far, I have 58 blocks for October and November. I'm hoping to make 10 quilts, so you can see I need more blocks to meet my goal...can YOU help?
I have six blocks ready to mail this week. Sorry that they are, so late
KC, I'm almost ready to get back into the quilting room and will put Sunshine blocks at the top of the list. Hope to have something for you soon.
So glad blocks arrived safely
KC - made these the last couple days for Oct and Nov - should be mailed early next week.
Anyone I didn't get blocks to this summer, please let me know if you need any more. And I have Dec to do.. Then I can get to my local group charity items and the QOV for the 2013 retreat.

Thank you so much, Elainetoo! I will let you know once they arrive. I can't wait to set the block all out and start working on these quilts. My goal in 2013 is to complete between 20-30 charity quilts!
ttt .. still another month to help out KC with blocks for her quilts.
Lots of mail today! Elainetoo, your beauties arrived today along with Fayejeans cheery blocks! Here is a photo of Fayejeans (Elainetoo's are in a post above).
Many thanks, ladies! I'm getting closer and closer getting enough blocks for my ten quilts!
Elainetoo, I tried to email you copies of the Sunshine photos for the album and it came back. I also tried to send you a PM and it was blocked??? What's up?
Um... email is possibly wrong. Let me try to PM you and see what happens.
I'm planning to mail mine along with my combo swap baggies. Started to pull fabrics last night for both and will post pics next week!
Here are the 3 blocks I made to send to quilterchris.
These are for Elaine. I hope to make a few more before mailing - she's making quilts for one of my favorite places to donate quilts (Quilts of Valor).
Mary Lou - those turned out good. Thank you. Think this block is going to make a neat quilt.
