Two color quilts? Sign In/Join

So, I've been gathering fabric here and there and I've got about 8 yards of beautiful aqua batiks. They totally deserve their own quilt.

Do you all have any two color quilts you'd like to share? I'd love to see them.

Happy is a choice.

I'm working on this one right now. It's two fabrics, although the batik has various colors in it.

I love them both, I really prefer working with Batiks because you can get a lot of range and depth in just one fabric

These were all done a while ago. I really don't have time for big quilts anymore.

I have only made one "two color quilt" so far but I do plan to someday do another. It was a baby quilt for a nephew's little baby girl.

I have found over the last few years, that I am loving two color quilts more than ever.

Do a Google search under "Images" and you will see a lot of them.

Did you see the Red/white quilt exhibition that was widely shown a couple years ago?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJn0B7yLBGI (long but really pleasant viewing) Actually, are 3 more by same individual.
The show curator's video:

I'm not much of a red fan, but this was spectacular, and if you never viewed it, you really should. Any color you like could be substituted.
The closest to a 2 color quilt I've ever done was a couple of Irish Chains, tho not strictly 2 colors.

Here is my S&W blue/white quilt.

I don't mind coming to work. But that 8 hr. wait to go home is a drag.

The start of a red/white table topper. I use to work on it when we went on cruises but since DH died I haven't worked on it as much.
I do have 20 "blocks" done and am starting to connect them together.

indycatCarol,
I have always admired (and still plan to copy) an "Annie's Choice" you did some years ago. It is the one w/ the variety of color w/ white in the blocks and the blk & Wht sashing and either a 4P or 9P cornerstone.
I think it's time for me to go look for it again since I can't remember how many sashing strips and cornerstone pieces !!

Judy, if you go here and click on Carol's you can see my quilt.

If the block was red, the binding was red for that block, if it was a green block, the binding was green for that block etc.
