Bless your heart! I can't imagine what you're going thru but remember when you can..smile at the memories of your beloved DH. Sometimes it'll be a watery smile. Laugh when you can..maybe at a memory of something your husband said or did. And yes, cry when you have to & want to.

Remembering how our friends here comforted me when my Mom died has helped me cope. They'll help you too.

I have lots of moving around to do to make room for a room mate. We have been friends for 31 years so I have no doubt I will make it. I just have to be careful not to become a hermit.
Please Please have your papers done and your ducks in a row. Had I not made DH go do that a while ago I would be in hot water now. I leaned that when my brother passed away a couple years ago. He had his all done so I had very little trouble taking care of everything and helping his DD with her first funeral.

There are so many wonderful ladies here on the board, which I am proud to call my friend! Theres always such love and support no matter what we are going through in our lives...quilters truly know the meaning of the term ~in sickness and in health~

I to believe in having things taken care of...I was insulted by a few family members and told I was being morbid and too young to think of such nonsense...DH being the sweet, caring man he is, quickly snapped back..."How can her trying to be helpful and make things easier for her loved ones, even after she has gone be morbid? Get your head on straight"!...times like that, I don't miss my family all that much and am glad I moved to Australia...other times I still miss them and love them faults and all
