 I've been w/o a pc for almost a week...good to be back up an running again BUT am VERY leary now!!!!  I lost all my favorites but I'm sure I'll be able to get the best ones again. THANK GOODNESS hubby is a computer geek!  He worked on my laptop for 4 days straight...he said I probably got it from this site...doesn't want me to come here anymore...NOT GONNA HAPPEN!! Gotta get my fix ya know...LOL!!! The only sites I go to are my yahoo mail, here, FB & Pinterest. I haven't searched for anything lately, either. I'm more inclined to think I got it from pinterst so won't be going there for a while cause affraid I'll get another....had w/drawls from not being able to get on line, don't ya know.  BUT I did get a LOT of sewing done!! I was given a big box of precut strips and made a crib size strings quilt that I'm donating and am now working on a scrappy log cabin. Using a white center sq and sashing it in white w/ corner stones...it's turning out far better that I thought it would and will probably give it to my hubby! [shhhh don't tell him...lol] I'll post pic when I get them off my camera on onto my pc.Anyway, just want to warn ya to be extra carefull and do a scan OFTEN to be sure you don't get the NASTY bug I had!! {{{{{{  }}}}}}****************************** Take time for kindness & for giving. Don't you have an anti virus program? My Trend Micro runs every couple of days in a quick scan, and once a week I tell it to do an in depth scan. I would feel horrid if I didn't have a computer for a week.. | |||

Yes, I had an anti virus installed/running but somehow it was disabled...I DIDN'T disable it...DH said that was part of the virus! I also have an external hard drive & I back things up...just lost my favorites. I thought I also lost ALL my embroidery files but when DH re-installed them something went wrong and they didn't install right...he got them all back [thank goodness]! ****************************** Take time for kindness & for giving. ughhhh, don't know why people have to mess with stuff like this. What do they get out of it anyway. So glad that you were able to find your embroidery files. | |||

FB is horrible or this...which is why I stopped going there much at all.  | |||

Sew Love to Quilt.....About a week ago I was on FB and I think it was on FB that I saw a link to Pinterest and clkd on it and my Antivirus immediately popped up with a block to that site, so I think you may have gotten the virus from Pinterest. What a bummer it is not to have your computer for a week! Glad your DH has you up and running again! | |||
