Buttons from JC Penneys,Thread from Woolworths,Surgical thread from the TC State hospital which has been closed for years, laces, satins ribbons, needles and the coolest buttons, hat elastic ??? some of it I have not a clue what it is or was used for.It is stuffed full.I used some of the snaps already. They put better instructions on packages back when???

Great Find.
The snaps on the top in the last picture are identical to some of the snaps I found in my Mom's sewing cabinet when I went through it a few weeks ago.

I had to throw away most of the thread as it broke easily. I kept all the wooden spools and added them to my Step-mother's and a few my Husband had.

I forgot to ask Front Porch today to help me identify some of the things, as I have no idea what some of the items are.

Enjoy it!!!!!!!!

May great cabinet. I'd say the stuff inside is circa. 70s since that is when I was sewing a lot and have some of those same things from my mom's sewing things. I love your find! I KNOW you will enjoy.
