••• I didn't realize the last thread was locked already. Hmmmm, must be a lot of people checking in on us because there really hasn't been too much talk. I know it's hard to do when you aren't allowed to give details, but I still want to know how everyone is progressing.

Also, I could really use some more photos to help with the peeks. Smile

I'll get it started. My first idea just is not going to work with these fabrics. Frown I'll save it for next year and hopefully be able to do it then. So, I am back to the drawing board Roll Eyes but have been organizing and reorganizing my fabrics to see if that helps. Not yet, so I went back to my black & whites because that is due early August. Eek

Now, it's your turn. How's it going?

Lori, be sure to share the photo of Barbie's quilt when it is done.

I've tried three different ways to make the block I want to do from 6 inch pieces of fabric and I think I've finally got it. Maybe I'll have something for you to sneak peek soon.

I have made a small section, but it's not "peekable" yet. Soon, perhaps, soon. Well, maybe not so soon. Still have to remember the camera stuff. But, you want these in-process photos full-size, not shrunken, right??????? I should be able to do that. Eek

I haven't touched my squares yet (I mean, I haven't actually "played" with them), so....does EQ5 count?? According to my EQ layout this quilt will be a dynamo!!

Now, if I can only find the time to get to it...

    ••• We have lift-off!

Nancye, don't forget to send me photos and isn't it great when it goes together like that. I thought my MDA quilt was going to be a nightmare trying to get all the fabrics in the right place. Since I took the time to organize it, it came together so quick and easy.

Yes! RockinBobbin, that does count. Can I see what you came up with? I don't have EQ, but if you could do a screen print and e-mail that, I would be very happy indeed. Smile

Angela, what do you mean might have? Razz

    I mean...I just can't decide! Frown

I am an incedibly indecisive individual. They tried to put me on a committe at work that had to come up with ideas for something (can't even remember what it was now)...anyway, I told them I'm better at implementing the plans that someone else has already come up with!

    I know...I'm pathetic!!!

I was off to a great start but now haven't been able to revisit it for 2 weeks due to other, more pressing projects. Good thing we still have lots of time. I know...famous last words.

Hey, hey, hey! I've opened the envelope, sorted the squares, figured out my pattern (complete with trying it out with scrap squares), and now I know what I'm doing. Yeah, right!

I do need to go get some fq's that will finish out my design, then I'm ready to start sewing in earnest. Yippee!

I was happy to be able to work on mine yesterday. Not really sure where it's going yet - but it's started.

I worked on mine too. No cutting, but I separated the squares into lots of piles & labelled them. I've also sewn a small sample, but used my own scraps just to see if what I have in mind will work. So far, so good.

I'm working on my B&W project right now with lots of little HST's. Oh, how I hate trimming those buggers.
