I got the email from the Alzheimer blog with all their mini quilts shown for sale. As I looked at the group there were two that caught my eye. The first one I clicked on for a large picture was yours. You did a wonderful work with that piece. Thank you for sharing your things with us.
There was another one that I thought you might have made, but when I opened it larger I could see that the style of work was not your style. They each did some good work on all the quilts.
Would you put a link on this thread so others can see all those cute minis? Thanks.

The email you got must have been about the July auction. I probably shouldn't post a link to the auction page (advertising?) but here's a link to the page on the AAQI site with pictures of all of the quilts that are in the auction. Lots of variety in the little quilts shown!

Gosh, Martha, that is a stunner! I have a full sized one started that has been languishing as a UFO for 2 years. I don't know why, but I really hate to make those snowball blocks.LOL I don't mind doing the stars at all. (weird huh?) Love yours!
Sara, I know what you mean. I've made Tennessee Waltz quilts in mini, lap, and queen size. I also enjoy making the stars but really don't like making the snowball blocks. Not sure why. Maybe because the snowballs are kinda plain but need to have the seams just right to line up with the stars? Maybe that comes from thinking that if a block needs all of that care it should look like "something" when its finished??? They do make good alternate blocks.
