Tshirt and denim? Sign In/Join
posted
Has anyone ever made a quilt using tshirts and and denim? My hubby has some t shirts that he doesn't want to get rid of, and tons of old jeans, can I put them together into a quilt? Would love to do this for his birthday....will it work??
Thanks!

I have...you'll want to use the thinner denims. They're easier to work with. I also pressed my seams open to remove some of the bulk. I think it would be neat to do the "quilt as you go" method or maybe so the raggy seams. I know t-shirts don't really fray but snipping them along with the denim would give it a cool effect.
