Will send it out Monday. Things are crazy around here lately, lots of packing, sorting and throwing out. Getting ready to list my house and I didn't want the mugrug to get lost. I'm amazed (shocked!) at how much I have accumulated over the years. Not Hoarders by any means but still full closets, stuffed drawers kinda thing.

Wave So glad you like it Applik!!! Big Grin It looks way harder than it was!! Twister's are so FUN!! I started w/ 2.5" sqs...sewed the rainbow sq's in rows, then sashed/bordered it and re-cut w/ the twister ruler that was 1.5"! Easy peasy...I think I wasted more time looking for a pattern [then I gave up and got my fabric out when the 'twister pattern' popped in my head] than it took to make this...LOL!!!

www.stitchntimefabrics.com/shop/Notions/Rulers

Click on 'shop on line' then click on 'notions' then click on 'rulers' it'll show you the smallest sizes. I used the 1.5" for the mugrug.

OR for the larger 'twister rulers' :

eta: I bought mine at www.marymaxim.com [the store is only a few minutes from my house & they accept JA's coupons]

I am not 'worried' about it! Yours was mailed bright and early yesterday morning! I got there before they opened and by the time they opened-- 5 people were behind me!

I am thinking cupcakes now.... ;D I know what I want to make.... I just have to dig in the stash that just got stored so I can paint my house! Good thing I have a month+ to get it done!

Oh! I am sooooo glad you got it today and liked it. Yours came too and it is a beauty. I just love it with all the rainbow colors. Please let me know if I owe you any postage. The last one I mailed which was exactly like this one except for the design was 3 times the postage! I dont get it. It was a different post office but how could the postage differ that much. Anyway I love mine and the way you signed it on the back is so special. Thank you!

Hello ladies. It looks if my alter ego Quiltinnana will be unavailable for comment for a little while and I wanted Tisme to know that I have mailed her mug rug off last
thursday, so she should be receiving it any day now. I have not yet received hers but I'm sure it will be along any day now.

I'm in awe at the lovely rainbows showing up. Great job everyone! What fun!

SmileYours should be there by now. I will post a pic of the one I got tonight. She also sent me 2 great little coasters. I will hang up the mug rug, but I am going to use my coasters!

tks, Tisme. Will let you know if it gets here.

Mandy - a lady at a progressive dinner tonight approached me with the conversation starter "you make quilts don't you? I have this dress I need shortened..." All I could think of was your quote about Picasso! Luckily, I didn't say it and someone else volunteered to help her out!

Tisme - your second package arrived today and it's soooo cute! The diagonal strip piecing of bright colors are so happy, as is the yellow FQ you included. I'm looking for a new sewing machine and after seeing how much your variegated machine embroidery added to the mug rug, I know I want one with more decorative stitches than my current one has. Thanks a lot.

Can you post photos of yours and mine? I haven't mastered the resizing thing yet.

I count only 5 photos of mug rugs from this swap posted out of the 12 total. Does anyone have any more to share?
