Oscieboy has expressed interest. Anyone else interested. Deadline would be before end of August. Christmas fabric is out in the stores already.

Not familiar with how this swap would work. I maybe - but would need more info.

Everyone picks a letter of the alphabet and send in 26 6 1/2 inch squares of something that starts with that letter. For example:
a--angel send in 26 6 1/2 inch blocks of angel fabric.

Angel fabric, or a block with an angel, such as a paperpieced angel?

Just plain angel fabric. Sometimes we make an exception for the letter "x" if we cannot find xylophones.
Love the ornament. Did you make it?

Yeah, it has gotten raves. I hope to have a good supply of them (there are about 10 different ones, not all angels) for sale this fall at the craft shows. This has been one of my stash buster items, because I am using stash fabric only, not buying anything new.

Here is another one:

and one of the non-angels. Paper piecing is the only way I could have made these, given some of the small pieces.

now now owie don't blame me but since I have been forced into retirement [when my medical leave was up they told me I would have to work in Naples everyday which is 2and 1/2 to 3 hoiurs from me each way] I could not do that so I have time to think and read the boards dd went to the lqs and bought me a brace and something to put on ruler so I can hopefully cut. Plan on trying later today or tomorrow

I love ABC swaps but saw the due date and said, No way can I make 26 blocks by the end of August!!!!!!! But since we're just gonna swap fabric cuts (not sewn-together blocks) I think I can do this.
Could I please have "S"?

When in doubt, do the friendliest thing.

I had a feeling that a Christmas ABC swap was coming up Big Grin. I would love to have "I" if that is ok. It is one of the trickier letters, but I'm all set for it! If there is a need, I would be willing to take a second letter, but will let others have a chance at the letters first.

Put you down for "i" Lisa. We'll wait and see if you need to take another. May have to take you up on it.

Hi, I participated in an "ABC" swap quite a while ago and I loved it. Could you please count me in? Has "C" been taken, if so just give my any letter. Thanks. Bonnie
