Though I'm a totally classic quilt lover, I sure enjoyed looking at these fresh modern takes:

So many pretties! I really like
Color Shot
Bubbles
Miscellaneous Squares
Drunk Zebra
Intersecting Circles
Opposing Triangles
Just Dandy
Dancing Dots

I like the Plaid to be an American, but would never make it...the others are a remote possibility. Wink

Thanks for that link!

Now that I have all of the little pieces of Cherrywood fabrics in a rainbow of colors (thanks for that link Patty!) I was thinking that MAYBE I'd try a mini art quilt. One small problem - I don't know how to tell a "good" one from a "not so good" one, LOL. I do have favorites but I kinda suspect those aren't the "best" ones.

Still, it was fun looking. Smile

Oh, some of those I loved. But some of them......well, best I not say.

I'm always amazed at the imagination and creativity shown in art quilts.

Love seeing this. Someday I will make a modern quilt. Houndstooth was already on my bucket list! I liked the picture with the Llamas. I can't say the quilt did much for me, but the picture cracked me up! Striped squares is neat too!

Bozie - I can't wait to see what you do with your mini modern. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, not the quilt police! Smile
