I saved my gourmet coffee until this morning so I could savour it while reading the Sunday paper. It's sooooo good! Thank you, SS. You've really added to my wonderful Mother's Day and got me interested in buying more of this. The house smells like heaven too. You're a great SS with wonderfully inventive gifts. Evelyn

Well I got my box on Friday and waited till this morning to open it on my BirthDay. SS, You were so thoughful putting this one together. I received a 1000 piece puzzle of cats. Its adorable! Next I got a pumice stone/nail brush to work on my feet and get them ready for summer sandles! I don't like shoes much even in the winter time so my heals need the attention. Next was Aveno Lavender Body Wash and Body Lotion. This is to soother my stress! stress? what stress!! LOL A box of petit fours(I haven't had these since I was a kid!) A lavender Sachet (my DD confiscated it already), A lovely Cat card telling us what we learn from our cats, (I think I know all of those cats!) And then an absolutley DELICIOUS smelling Herb de Provence spices. I will ask my DD's to use that on this afternoons dinner that they are cooking for me. I don't want to give away my location if my LSS is lurking, but I will scope out that location and get info to you somehow! As far as things to tickle me pink? Any kind of quilting notion, pencils, tools, fabric, copy of patterns (printed from computer or shared from a magazine),I want to learn how to do celtic knot work properly. I would love a bias tube maker? I think thats what its called. a bobbin holder, Licorice, anything made local in your area, either by craftsmen or produced, such as spices, honey, stuff like that. I love cooking, so recipees are nice. Maybe something you make for your family? Pot Holders, Candles,(melon, sugar cookie, pumpkin, coffee lattee scented, etc ), mints, Articles from magazines that you enjoy, Books. I love to read and enjoy recycled books. I have an Amazon wish list under my HGTV screen name. As you can see, I really like most anything. I am not going to COF retreat so far for next year, but am on wait list. I hope that you may be there if I go? If not, I do have a family member that would travel with me in a heartbeat should I decide to go meet new friends. She is on this board too and has made many friends that she wants to meet. Thank you for a special box. I will use everything in it and think of you often when I do. Thank you fo rmaking my Birthday Special! Happy Mothers Day to you as well! ~ Lena

I recieved my box! Yeah!!! I recieved some patterns. I just love patterns. I got a pattern for Emperor's lady a oriental pattern,a pattern called easter egg sampler, and birdhouses to pp. I can't wait to try! I've never seen any of these patterns. I can't wait to try the birdhouses for a christmas present. A block of the month and patterns for months 3 and 4. There are 5 beautiful oriental fq's, a mothers day card, coffee,a 2 hot fix crystal iron-on flowers and a passion fruit candle my children have been fighting over. I think the crystals are going on a t-shirt to wear to curves today. You are the best! Thank you so much!!! Now it time to go decide on which pattern to try first such hard choices.

I think we must have all been inspired by Mother's Day this month...cause the SS gifts are just wonderful! I enjoy reading all of the posts each time I visit this string...and really enjoy looking at the photos. Is it just me, or does it seem that we get less and less photos each month...I hope it's just me cause we'll be 'reading only' by the time Thanksgiving gets here! I love to see all the pretty's...and have to say it kinda bums me out when my LSS doesn't post a picture...Isn't that weird?...guess I'm more of a visual person than I knew...hmmmm. We're at the half way point this month...so I'm starting to get my box ready for next month...now where did I put those Ginger shears and that Bobbin Winder. Just kidding Mom...I remember the spending limit!

There's a thread #4 so you might NOT want to post here. Look for the newest one instead. quiltbea
