I can't seem to find the original post but wanted you to know I sent out some blocks yesterday. How is it going?

I notified NICUnurse about the original post being pulled and she posted it again yesterday, but it is gone again. She is still collecting blocks, and I suggest anyone who wants to send her a block to PM her. As soon as she knows the amount of blocks coming, I offered to supply the fabric backing in her choice of color. Nice to see everyone pulling together to help out!

Why do they keep pulling my post???? Frown I don't get it!

Anyhoo- I have 36 blocks pledged so far so I will probably need about 9 yards of backing. It will be a good size-prob a king-but he is a BIG kid! I just saw my friends husband when I went to the track to work out and he said she's gonna be thrilled! I'm so happy to be doing this for her and Michael David. As far as I know-nothing has changed in his status for now-still critical but stable.

I'm so proud to be a member of this group caz we always do such AWESOME things! I thank you all again from the bottom of my heart-

maybe u should change the wording of the title to include quilting words. i think they might frown on the term 'train jumper'. how bout quilting train.

I agree with Mandylifeboats - make the thread name more quilting oriented.. perhaps someone is jealous about the project. THAT makes my heart sad. I think Quilting Train is a good thread title too Smile I'll watch for something like that - you know this one is bound to diappear also.

I bought the fabric for the backing today, and will mail it out tomorrow. Since you didn't advise the color wanted, I found a netural brown print that would be suitable for a young man. Hope he is doing well--how about an update on him?
