Everyone enjoy the fun of this day. If you go out partying be careful and don't drink and drive. I have to work this evening so I don't get to go party (not that I do anyway).

got the corned beef and cabbage cooking...my idea of a party

I'm in my sewing space, a half de-boned quilt in my lap, and my laptop's got The Quilt Show on. It's a great way to spend this dreary day.

Finally got a chance to sit down!
I put the traditional Irish-American corned beef brisket along with carrots, potatoes, and onions in the slow cooker before church.

After church I served a light lunch of ham rollups on flour tortillas. Then I moved my potted plants out to the screen porch - FINALLY!

So now I'm sitting - about to get up from here and do some hand quilting.

Before supper, I'll bake shortbread then Irish soda bread and we will feast.

I've been listening to it all day on Youtube. When one finished I'd just pick another. Felt good.
