And it looks like it will be a quick step to do. I plan to start on it as soon as I finish running errands this morning. We have a busy weekend but today I have some free time for sewing.

Pville...So you liked doing those Flying Geese? Did you see the new HST-Flying Geese technique Bonnie posted yesterday on Quiltville..I'm just surprised no one mentioned it before. I'll be feeding the geese today....and maybe I'll see a little green too...

May, I've been using the Easy Angle and Companion Angle rulers and having pretty good success. I missed the method you are talking about and can't find where she posted about it. Is it just using two HSTs to form the flying geese unit? That seems like extra work to me but it does give nice results.

Here is the Link to Ways Around the Triangle

http://quiltville.blogspot.com...-round-triangle.html

I am using the Easy Angle and Companion rulers also..and my biggest problem was getting them to finish at 3 1/2...al mine were at least 1n 1/8 in. too wide. No matter where I set my needle for the 1/4 seam on these I could not get them to finish without needing trimming...I don't like trimming 128 2 x 3 1/2 geese...and now 64 more...I think I might pull out one of my older machines and try some samples on it just for fun...

Yes, crazy KC has step four complete! I'm willing to bet we will be making more flying geese in step five!

KC, I thought I was doing good to get step 4 done before time to fix dinner but I see that you beat me by several hours. My pic turned out rather dark. Those squares at the back are dark green but not as dark as they look here.

Now I need to clean up the sewing room enough for DD to use it as a guest room tomorrow.

My sewing room has lots of goose "droppings" on the carpet. Better "mow" the rug as I am starting to track my snippets downstairs and Mom is getting on my case! Wink

I just cleaned up the "goose droppings" from yesterday..all through the house even found 2 in the kitchen sink, made me laugh.

I am all done with Step 4 and totally caught up..I even have a few extra of each Step just in case I run into a "honky" one....
