Okay, here are photos of binding for a quilt. I am using a faux piped binding. I was going to use just this, but then I learned prairie points! Which do you like? It's for my daughter.
I'll be the first to vote , I like the second one better--with the prairie points. That was such a fun class at the retreat and I look forward to putting that knowledge to use soon.
You will probably get a lot of opposite votes! They both are good choices. Depending on who the quilt is for would make my decision. Since it is for your daughter, I would go with the second one. She will probably really like the added color and texture.

Wish I could, but nope, it's all sewn and other than the pink (which I purchased to make the points) the rest was freebie fabrics.
