I bought a piece of fabric at the quilt show in Springfield, MO when I was at the Branson retreat. I should have gotten another 1/4 yard!!! I'm 8.5 x 44 inches short for my final border.

What are those websites that have worked to find fabric?

The selvege says: Legacy by Timeless Treasures Fabrics of SoHo, LLC. Pattern Legacy CM9546.

There are two color ways of this I need the Rust. The fabric is an Oriental style gold trimmed. I think it looks like peacock tail feathers going in many directions.
Egyptian CM9546-Rust is what it was called on one site that wouldn't let me find a price.

That's very pretty - did you try going to the timeless Treasures site - when I was looking for another of their fabrics I went there - they had lots but not the one I wanted. I finally found some on eBay - it's coming to me from AustraliaSmile

http://www.quiltshops.com/ is the search site I use. When I searched for your fabric, there were only two results and they both look like a different colorway. http://search.myquiltshops.com...arch.cgi?thumbnails=

Hopefully, someone else will have another search site for you that will produce better results.

I think it was Pvillelou who recommended Quiltshops.com for searching for fabrics.

I'm a Google gal myself and found this Etsy listing of the fabric that way.

Oops. Sorry Wildcatmom. Several of us were searching/typing at once.

What I have done is use google. I put the number in and search. Sometimes I go through several pages beford I find the exact fabric. You might even find a shop you are familiar with.

Karen, I'm not sure of the vendor that it was. They were at the end of the aisle (at the center divide) with a booth full of Aisan fabrics. I think the name Jenny might have been in the shop name, I can't find the business card that was put in my bag. It was a man and woman couple working the booth. He was very pleasant, she was older and pushing the whole line of fabrics on me to go with this piece.

I may have to create a new design element in my border since a stretching design of 11 inches would probably get me what I need.

Yes, most of what I find are the olive colorway and it just doesn't have the richness of this rust one.

Thanks for checking. I'll be watching to see if there are any other suggestions coming.

Jenny Bugs Quilting
Jennifer Pens

Plano, TX 75893

Did a search to see if this vendor had a web site, but couldn't find one.

Thank you. You each have been wonderful. I really appreciate what you have found for me.

I have come up with an idea that might let me use what I have instead of buying more for $10. a yard plus shipping when that is all that I need to spend on right now. That ** and time is just more than I have available right now.

I will show you the finished top when I get the borders on. I'm so close, I think I will get at it to try to get it finished tonight.

Thanks again for all your work.

Madelyn- good luck with getting your boarders on! I can hardly wait to see your finished piece!

The only thing is now that I've seen your fabric, I just might have to try & find some of it myself to use in a Stack & Whack/One Block Wonder quilt!

Happy Stitching All!

Susan, that fabric is one of the luscious ones. I will post a picture of the finished top.

I have finally let it swirl in the mind enough that I think I have figured out a way to get it done and looking right.

Time to go put the borders on. Then pictures to come soon.

The full quilt, on a friend's double bed. I made it to go on our queen bed. Notice the corner HST on the last borders--that was the way I got my fabric to complete the job. I just couldn't spend the bucks to have some shipped when I only needed 8.5 inches by 44 to finish the border.

I used HST on the corners for two sets of borders since I was about 11 inches short with the third (gold colored) fabric also. I arranged the HST to make it look like the fabrics were "bleeding" into the borders from the corners.
