I'm sure you have all heard about our very own Nicki Lee and her fabulous laces. But I'm not sure you've actually seen these beautiful works of art.

For the last year and a half, I've been collecting bits & pieces for an Under the Sea CQ piece. Every time I check out Nicki's site, Raviolee Dreams, I find more and more laces I just cannot resist.

So I thought I would share - now that I've gotten what I need, of course!

I laid out my Under the Sea laces on a white tablecloth and my goodness, I don't think I need to do a thing to them at all. Just laid out like this they look amazing. How gorgeous are these?

And being the hoarder that I am, I also have a lot of other examples of Nicki's laces. These are the ones I have kept in their little cellophane bags so nothing will happen to them. I haven't decided what to do with them, only that I had to have them.

And do you see that pretty piece of lace with the blue ribbon? That's what one of my shipments came in. Anyone who does CQ knows that this is just more stuff to use!

I have a lot more (don't tell DH - what he doesn't know, won't hurt him) but these are my favorites.

I have one more regular quilting piece to do - new grandchild on the way - and then I will be doing my UTS piece. I'll be playing with all my laces.

So if you haven't already, go over to her site

Get a cup of your favorite beverage and spend some time looking at these beautiful works of art.

Wow! Those are all gorgeous! I really like all the "sea" stuff, can't wait to see what you do with them.

Very pretty. I go by her site once in awhile but never buy. I never got into CQing but would like to. I have a lot of lace and ribbon collected already. Congrats on the new grandbaby. Another little one to rock.

Owie, I've been playing with EBGQ & some of her buddies - just teaching them the basics. You should come play with us one day.

I'm very excited about the new grandbaby - nothing lowers your blood pressure quicker than rocking a new baby.

BTW: I apologize for the quality of the photos. I am NOT a photographer. In fact, I just stink at it.
