Patty J: I'm gonna have to reacquaint myself with the method I found before I do anything with it. But it look as if it would be interesting to try.

Paus, could you tell me what you did to get it to download? I got a new laptop a year ago and never could download the chickens, and can't download the fish. So frustrating. I can download the daily free patterns that Marion2 puts up every day, so can't figure this out.

Paus thanks for reminding us of the fish.
Was shopping LQS with Sue and she said you have an idea for a different method you are going to try. Can't wait to see what you are coming up with.
Oh the possibilities for making this fish special. Sue gave me some bright scraps this morning and I'll have to see what else I have to go with them to make this fish.

I looked through those books I found the other day and they won't work with this project without a lot more work. So on to Plan E, as in Easy. lolllll

Fish #3 done. DH said he blends too much with the background - I say, he's got amazing camouflage!

I've been trying to do these as soon as I can. I know how I am and I would put it aside with good intentions, but. . . . This way, they are just done.

I think he is neat!!! Don't worry about his colors maybe blending with the background, once he's with the other fishies the colors will stand out on their own.

Oh Katie he is darling and there are some fish that really do blend in so much that it is difficult to see them.
ETA: I love plan "E" for easy whenever I do anything. Smile Smile

OK, got my fish done. I think her name is Esmerelda.Smile DH thought there was too much red, but what does he know. I'm getting quicker with the machine applique stitch and it is easier each time.

Neat, Patty. I love the button!!!! Gave me an idea for some buttons I have similar to that so I can go dig one or two of them out.

I did clothes repair all day today; it's been sitting and sitting and I now need the sewing table space.

On to the fishy tomorrow.

With all the topstitching on these fish I've been using a lightweight fusible interfacing on the back to give it a little bit more material to sew on.
I'm liking your orange fish, Nice colors.

Does it count that I decided what fabrics I'm going to use????

I like your fishy, EBQG. Unless you're having a real problem with your stitching on the circles, I'd leave it. They look cute and good. That orange is great with that background.

EBGQ- I love your orange fish and I would not change anything. It gives it character. Paus, it does count that you have your fabric and I will be waiting to see your new fish in the ocean. Sue

I love your orange fishy EB! I wouldn't change a thing either! I am loving that many of you are using "water" prints in the background...unifies the fishies. My March fishy is soon finished...post later today.
