PJ Party tonight - 8 pm central -ATC supply list- EYE CANDY- no Art exp necessary
Let me start by stating the only rule:
THERE ARE NO RULES!! haha, tricked ya!
but seriously, there are absolutely no rules and I'm the one who asks, 'what will happen if I do __________ (whatever I'm not supposed to)?' so I won't be telling you there's only one way to do these.
ATCs are generally 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"
So its kinda hard to make a list for these since I use whatever I have on hand and I want you to use whatever you have on hand, lol. I consider that the 'artist' part of ATC, haha
Any how, I wanted to give ya'll a chance to gather up some goodies but since you are the person deciding what your card looks like, you're also in charge of deciding what you'll use.
Think of this as a teeny tiny little quilt sandwich: top, middle & back TOP: since it won't be washed you can use whatever you can stitch, glue or fuse together. MIDDLE: I usually use flannel, a scrap of batting or felt. BACK: I usually use a light colored fabric so I can sign the back
This is a good way to experiment with a new technique since you aren't committing to a big project.
If you have any questions feel free to post them here & come back to play on Friday!

Since there's no rules - I guess I'm ready for this one. LOL I'll just have to lay out odds and ends of...stuff.
Just don't keep us up too late, Teacher. Looks like we are getting up Saturday at 4 a.m. to get to a family reunion around 11 a.m. or so. (I am NOT looking forward to that. I once told DH that absolutely nothing could get me up THAT early!)
Tory, do you know where I can buy some creativity like you have?

McP- I truly believe that creativity is a learned process. Start pushing the envelope a little, buy yourself a pack of markers or some colored pencils & a cheap sketchbook, copy some stuff you like & try to add your own touch, above all don't be too hard on yourself it's supposed to be FUN!! And nobody has fun when somebody is picking at mistakes. You wouldn't criticize someone else's efforts so don't criticize your own. Hey! Don't I have an AWESOME 'favorite flower ATC' that u did? It was beautiful & when I get home tonight I'm posting a pic here so stop talking smack, lol.
Someone sent me a goodie bag with some itsy-bitsy goodies, snippets of netting and slickery fabrics, etc. but I don't remember who now. AND I don't remember where the packet is stuffed. I'll check in my CQing supplies.
Question one of many I'm sure: Are we sewing on an itsy-bitsy square or on something larger, then cut apart and serge, zigzag, blanket stitch around the cut edge? Inquiring mind wants to know if I need to get one of those jewelers thingy-doodles to hang around my neck.
I love ATC's and I finally have the internet at home. Too bad I won't be home Friday night. Have fun ladies.

What time does the party start?
Edited to add: My bad. I see the time one post above. That's 9 eastern, right? If anyone hears snoring before the party starts, please wake me up, I want to see how Tory does ATCs!This message has been edited. Last edited by: mcpatches,

McPatches' fav flower atc! McP, u might need to be teaching this class instead of me!
Since I found my little stack of favorite flower AtCs I thought y'all would enjoy seeing them again. As you can see they are all absolutely wonderful!!! Any one of these talented ladies could teach this class with no problem whatsoever!
The only real question is: what should our next atc swap theme be?
