Ok Nickie, here are a couple of pictures for you.

This is what I made for shishie1- it's double-sided. This is the "Christmas-y" side, although it's not strictly Christmas

Tried to get on the private posting post but kept shutting down. Got your message JLU. will be on the lookout. But I have been very busy the last 5 days and have not started your yet. I had company (brother-in-law) putting in bathroom for me. So we did a lot of running for parts and other parts. But it got done. Now I need to get more into the Chri$tmas mood and at least get started. I haven't even done any shopping or decorating yet. Do you think Santa will move Chri$tmas til Feburary for me???Ha Ha Everyone have a nice week-end.

Ooooh Applebetty, you're gonna love that new bathroom.
Remodels are fun once they're finished. You can still catch up on Christmas. No worries. Smile At least I keep telling myself that I have plenty of time.

JLU got my mug rug today. Just love it. I keep using the mug rugs BBBUUUTTT I am going to start displaying them some how and not use them. You girls just out do yourselfs. to pretty to use. Brother-in -law is back doing some more work on the house. The house is over 100 years old and in very bad shape(so is the owner) Money is tight and my husband is leagly blind so not much help(but he tries) brother-in law lives two hours away and works full time and has his own family. So when ever he can spare a couple of days and we got a buck or two work gets done. Hope to get some sewing done near the end of the week. Look forward to see some of you girls at the Pa. retreat.

Shishie, it came today! I love it! You did a great job on the hand embroidery.

It's a good thing that mostly I only drink water. That way my snowman won't melt from me sloshing a hot beverage Wink

I got my beautiful mugrug from SeeingStars today. I love the setting and the fabrics. You certainly do amazing piecing. Thank you so much!

Yours is packaged and will be posted tomorrow. I wanted to get all my packages mailed at the same time. With so many post offices closed it can be quite a line.

Angela, I love your little mug rug with the Christmas birds on one side & the winter scene on the other. That was so clever!

Shishie, your festive little rug for Angela is so happy that you just have to smile each time you look at it.

SeeingStars, yours is so pretty. You have a special gift of being able to make different fabrics work together. It's lovely.

I love Christmas & am looking forward to seeing more of these lovlies. I should have signed up for this swap...oh well, maybe next year.

Wow, I just love everyone's creativity. The talent and imagination shown just blows me away. It also is a great way to try a new process in a small way. I regularly check out the Flickr mug rug swap board and thought you might like to see some of the holiday ones that have been swapped there. I especially like the pink flamingo, Raggedy Anne and the "drunk" purple russian tree!

Grrr... I couldn't get the link to paste. Don't know what I'm doing wrong.

...applik, I'm glad it finally got there - I was just going to start looking for it!
I sure wish I had taken a picture, so when You post I will snag it for my pic file.
I had to chuckle when I got yours - we both opted for the 'old fashioned' size and had not
dicussed that! I'm using mine - it has little white iced animal cookies sitting on it
right now Smile It's sooo cute.
