I think they're putting 4 days in a week this month!

Project Runway tonight - don't forget. They're on the High Line in the previews. I love that West Side park & have been on both sections right after they've opened. If I can find a picture I've taken, I'll post it later. But the preview looked like they were on the weedy, unopened Section 3 that's still under construction.

Yep - just checked The High Line's blog, and they mention the show:

Darn, I can't find the pictures. They must be on a USB stick & they're all locked away. Oh well. I do have a ROCK that I pilfered from The High Line, if anyone wants to see that! Razz

The park is an elevated walkway on what used to be train tracks. To make traffic flow safer & to avoid dangerous street-level train crossings, they built an elevated line so the trains could roll past or through the warehouses & factories to load/unload. Now defunct, they've turned the rail line into a pedestrian walkway. The views of the city are fantastic. You go right past Chelsea Market, a cool mix of shops & restaurants & offices, including The Food Network's office. Kind of low key at first, the park has now become quite a destination for locals & tourists. There are events held on The High Line, both planned & spontaneous. Kudos to the people who worked to save it & transform it! Can't wait to see what the PR people do with it tonight...

Oh, I've seen pictures of that! It is SO cool!!!! What an inventive thing!

This CANNOT be Thursday. I know it's Sunday.

Days were slower when we were kids. Meals are coming closer together too. Seems like I'm always cooking, feeding cats, or washing dishes!!!!

I liked the fabric on front and back.
Anyone remember the name of the organic fabric name. I was going to google it today but some memory cells cells died in my sleep. :0

Erm: I thought they said "air-dried"...is that right??? I guess that would make it green, not using any energy...

I wonder how thay got that 2 toned fabric...Romeo's dress was stunning on the inside, when the model flashed the slit open.

I didn't think anythink looked red carpet...well, maybe Anthony Ryan's...so glad he said something about "movement on the runway"...his shorts were so awful on his season when he had all that runway to use. Movement is definately part of the design!

I taped it, so when I hear it, I'll come back & post what fabric brand it was...unless someone else can come up with the name first.

I agree with Ivy should have gone home. I also thought only 1 could have been red carpet. I've watched a few of those "best and worst" shows and they always crow on short dresses not being red carpet. That was my thought-no one except the blue was red carpet worthy. As a judge I certainly would have expressed that.

I like the fabric but it looked like it frayed real bad. Thanks for the link. My favorite dress was casanova. because of the double sided fabric. The pollasso pants (laura's) were my second choice but not for a red carpet. Maybe for a dinner date. It would have been Emilio's red dress if he had finished the hem. Ryan's dress was a bit overwhelming. To much fabric. Joshua's photographed nice but for some reason it did not like it when it came down the runway.

I can't even remember Joshua's dress! I remember Althea's this time, though. Poor thing...she got the draw of the last fabric...boy was it an unhappy fabric and she tried so hard too many pieces, too short. Emilio's would have been beautiful if he'd lined and hemmed it! Ivy's might have emulated the sun, if there had been more of it...it was a sun-ette...

Someone's quote was funny..."the androgenous chalenge was easier than this..." Ulli?
