I finished 4 blocks for January sunshine club, and another pillowcase bringing this month total to 11. I see the original picture didn't post so I will try again since I'm not at home which has lousy reception.
I am working on a scap top that should be done by the end of the month. I made it from pieces left over from numerous projects. It is of course all stash.
● ● ● I finished the top last night (early this morning). It is ALL from stash except for the t-shirts. I'm going to piece the back with all the odd leftover cuts but not sure if I'll get it done before the month is out. (got my fingers crossed)

Here's a pic of my sewing room closet. When we started doing Stashbusters ( how long ago was that?) all these shelves were packed full. Here's what it looks like now. l do however have some FQs and fabric from the Retreat in Branson to add to the shelves but l was amazed at how much old stuff l have used up! l think l can start buying fabric again. What do you think?

My Precious dropped her I-toy last night (I can't keep them straight as to what is what) Anyway, it wasn't an expensive one (says her mom) and so now she's playing with her Kindle ... so thought I would make her a holder ... double batting for extra insulation, and all in her favorite colors ... peace signs
oh .. hey Rainbow ... CONGRATS on the new machine! I have a Brother that I bought at WM when I moved here 7 years ago, and I've worked it like a farm horse ... and she's still going strong! Rainbow, you need to go shopping and fill those shelves back up!!! I have the same sewing machine you do! My dd was working at walmart so getting a little employee discount helped out my decision too!!
Here's the first January finish that I remembered to take a photo of before I gave it away! We had two new grandsons- one in CA and the other here in OH born between Dec. 15- Jan 6, so I've been away from the Board for a while.We spent a week out in CA helping with the Dec. baby and this quilt is the one I made for him. This is paper-pieced and totally stash! Took a couple weeks from start to finish just because of some of the tiny pieces! btw- the "road" under the vehicules is cut from M & M Millenium 2000 scraps that a friend gave me years ago (2008, perhaps!)! I try to incorporate a little of it into my quilts as often as possible!
Hopefully, in the next few days, I'll have the other baby quilt with appliqued elephants done and ready to post here before it is given to the Jan. grandson! Again, stash! (Is there any other kind of quilt?? LOL!!!)
This is the quilt I have been working on collecting fabric forever! I put sone of the HST's together at the retreat in Branson, and in spurts since then. Last month they made it to a design wall and started sewing the rows. Today I finished the assembly, now it is on the to be quilted pile and is officially out of the bin of to be assembled!

DH finally downloaded my projects. Here is the last baby blanket from the bolt I bought about a year or two ago. Now have two all ready for when I need one. Also made a throw out of the last of the fabric that I made all the throws at Christmas. A big pile of fabric no longer under my bed! Also finished a spool of serger thread. Such a rare happening, I had to include it in the picture... Chris

Bought a bunch of red Christmas fabric that wasn't Christmas looking, more graphic designs when it was about $2 a yard. All the blue or solid parts are from my stash... Chris

Thanks FFG! It took many years to collect a variety of Halloween fabric so I had a ton to put in. Took many Halloween swaps. I should be able to do the backing and binding from stash!

I am probably not going to make it this month. Had to call EMS for DH yesterday afternoon. He passede out fell and broke a leg at the hip. Also coughing up blood and a urinary blocage so I am at the hospital a lot.
I finally have something for stash busters. I made 8 key ring lip balm holders and a pouch for DD#1's tablet. DD#2 works where they get corrugated plastic which I used for protection. Cuts easy and is stiff. I used all of a fat quarter (maybe).
Thank you! I've had it a long time. The panel had three pups in different poses & some toys. A lot of you probably remember there was a book and video about the puppy... can't remember the name right now. I'm enjoying seeing everyone's projects! Such talent and inspiration to use fabric up that's been stored way too long!

I made journal covers out of the left overs of a pink and gray baby quilt that is almost finished. The original plan had the back wrap to the front, but I didn't like the way the HSTs overlapped, so cut that part off and made an extra pocket on the inside back. Susan
