Quiltinana2 I did not take a close up for a reason Almost every one of those spider web centers bulges.
As for hints, I hand quilt so if the bulge really bad I fudge the quilting and try to stitch thru the middle of It. But my main secret, I use cheap muslin as backing so when it's washed there all kinds of bunching

DJ - thanks for the reply. I have the ruler and the book and after my first block attempt, I have been reluctant to try it again. I know it has a lot to do with pressing and seam direction. I was looking for the Feb Stashbusting thread 7 when I found the Jan one I realized that there was so much of it I had not seen, so I visited here awhile & looked at it all. Great job by everyone, hard to pick a favorite, it all looks so good. Well done ladies!
