Wow!! So many great projects!!! It's really amazing to see all the creativity!! So much fabric, so little time!!!
LumpyTush- I add my Ts & Ps for you and your DH!!!
Just finished the newest DGS baby quilt. The yellow in the corners and side triangles are recycled yellow gingham curtains I was given years ago. The green background for the elephants was the leftover thrift store sheet after I had used the rest as a quilt backing for a bed-size quilt! The rest of the quilt is scraps and stash that I've had for years! Feels good to see it actually being put to use!!
Thank you all for the T&P's. DH REALLY need them this time. besides the broken leg just where it goes in the hip he has end stage COPD and if they can't get that better they can't do surgery to fix the leg/hip and he also has a urinary blockage.
I did post this on the goals thread, but than I remembered that it is from my stash. I still have to put the borders on it. I do not have a space big enough to get a pic of all of it but this gives you and idea. It is a king size flannel for my DD & DSIL.
J LU, love your quilt and Horton, I just re read that recently with my grandson. I give lots of credit to Mtn Laurel a King size flannel with all those stretchy edges. You did a great job. Lumpy, Ts & Ps for you and DH. Pat & Sue I'm loving all the nice projects this month. really nice inspiration. thanks to all for sharing Pat
Haven't been sewing much, been quilting though. In between, I played with Barbie dolls. Here's 10 nightgowns I made for a mission in Applachia that makes up Christmas and birthday packages for kids.

McPatches, could you give the name of the mission in Applachia that gives out the packages at Christmas and birthdays? I would be interested in making some doll clothes for them. Or if anyone else has any information on missions anywhere in the US that does this.
The first quilt with the deer panels I just bought. The solid sashing & leaf border are from my stash and matched so beautifully I couldn't believe I hadn't bought it together... Chris

Here's my latest quilt top I just put together with my 2-1/2" strip shoebox! Honestly, I don't remember where half of the strips originally came from. Perhaps some of you years ago gave me some! If so, thank you!!! I definitely will use all fabrics that enter my sewing room!! lol!!
It is a very large lap quilt. This is a total stashbuster and I'm hoping to quilt and bind it this week! But for now, here it is:

Almost forgot this! I just finished up this table topper. It's actually a Christmas gift for my DMIL! She loves Halloween. It's all from stash...except the false eyelashes!
Happy Erm had brought one just like it to COF and shared it for show and tell. I knew it would be perfect for my DMIL!
Everything shown is so nice! Pat, I love that Island Chain quilt and you were sure speedy getting it done. Is that from a Scrap Sensations book? WQFC, love the witches! The colors are wonderful! Chris, love the deer quilt and it's so good for a guy's quilt. mcp, those Barbie clothes are very nice! I tried those once... to tiny for me to manage! You did good. Love the vet quilt and baby quilt... so many wonderful projects this month!
WQFC I love it. Halloween is one of my favorite Holidays!
Gardenpat, great idea for my box of strips from one of the BD FQ years! I need to get that pattern!
FFG Thanks for the name I will look it up. This months quilts are an inspiration!

First time I have posted on here.....I would like to post more often....haha, need to finish more projects I guess!! This is a bubble quilt. I am not happy with the binding on it, but after taking it off twice I am declaring it finished!! It is for my step grandson expected in April!!
Wow!! So many beautiful projects. I've sewn a little but finished nothing In my defense, I've been busy with year-end tax stuff the DH business...I'm almost done with that. I was proud I have been able to put together a chunk of 4 patches for project with DGD in April.

Yes, Malou &all- that island chain quilt is from the book Scrap Sensations (I love both books from that author!)
I hope to show you this quilt quilted and bound before tomorrow's over- I am FMQing it right now!
And, sadly, even using just strips from my 2-1/2" strip shoebox for this, my shoebox is still overflowing so I'll have to pick out another pattern quick to make with more of them!
PWife That looks like a very warm quilt. Beautiful Projects everyone. I look at this thread often through the month just to see what all of you are doing. I always feel good when I use my stash. Now I have to start working on some of my Unstarted quilts. They are quilts that have the pattern, fabrics all ready to use. I have quite a few. (embarrassed)
Since the beginning of the year l have been cutting my scraps up into 6 1/2", 4 1/2" and 2 1/2" squares. Now, l know this isn't actually stashbusting but l did bust those scraps into usable stash. hehehe! Just wanted to share. (And l've already posted pics of real projects for the month.)
====================== l would be unstopable IF l could get started!!!

Rainbow- that is great!!! The best way to bust stash is to actually make it useable and I know, for me,that means having scraps and leftovers cut into frequently used sizes. I like to have the scraps also cut into strips- 1-1/2", 2-1/2", etc. Can't wait to see all the projects you will be able to make with this organizational trick done!!!
FFG- I already have both Scrap Basket Sensations as well as Scrap Basket Surprises! Hopefully, it is a third "Scrap Basket" book! If so, I can hardly wait!!! I have never found books that I want to make each and every pattern from until these two books!! The idea of a third one just gets me all excited!!!!
I'm going to try to post a couple of donation scrap quilts I made from my scrap bag and some red flannel I've had in my stash for a few years. They may not be fancy but they are exceedingly cuddly.

#3 I sewed the binding on over the holidays so it doesn't qualify for this month but it was all from stash. I used up some "pages" from a cloth book panel that a 95 yr old friend gave me.

Quiltinana2, I think you have been in my scrap bags-or we have the same taste in fabrics. I recognize lots of "friends" in the first two quilts. They are really cute and look very cuddly. Karen

Rainbow, did Mr. Rainbow Mike help you cut those scraps up?? Looks like a lot of work, bet you can do lots of thinking when cutting like that. Quiltana, Your scrappy quilts are really pretty, wish mine would look good when I got them finished, but mine just look messy. Everyone did a great job this month with the stashbusting, guess I'm going to have to work some in Feb. Pat
More wonderful things added on since I last checked! Quilinana, love the snuggly quilts and that doll outfit is just beautiful! Kayla, how nice that wall hanging is! You accented that panel perfectly. Love the colors! A lot of incentive and good things to look at this month!
Quilting done, binding and label on. I was planning on donating this one, but hubby wants it. Ok that was easy, no mailing to do . Here is the back - extra blocks used to save that second cut of muslin
