And THANK YOU for all of you praying for me. Your prayers are working--I can make out large objects in my eye today and have a few glimpses of clearer items.....a wonderful beginning!!

You mentioned "floaters and flashes". It's related to PVD-posterior vitreous detachment. My left eye just had this happen a few weeks ago. The right eye-it happened 7 years ago. FORTUNATELY, the retina is intact and I'm stuck with lots of flashes and floaters especially in either bright daylight or a dark room (flashes). I hope it all straightens out for you and it's not a detachment. I'm sure if it was, they would have fixed it the same day. Always get your eyes checked as soon as something unusual happens.
