well My SS is soooo clever. She actually sent my May package to Hobby Lobby after it took a trek around the states. What a sneak she is to try to hide her identity. Sure makes the detective work difficult. The package I received was awesome - I mean awesome. She had accordian folded a yard of the blue and brown "running 8th" fabric and tied it all up with ribbon around a spool of matching thread. I really hate to unwrap the cute packaging. I have been wanting to try out this fabric but have not gotten around to buying any. I have just the project for it and hope to start it soon. Also she sent a great selection of novelty fabric squares for my grandson's I-Spy quilt. He is going to really like the selection. Also was included a yard of red fabric with balloons all over it. That is going to go well with my happy birthday banners I have been collecting fabric for. The package also included a mini journal notebook for recording my quilt ideas and a magnetic pin picker upper. I am going to get lots of use out of this little gadget. The best is for last - a great book on color quilts by Freddy Moran and Gwen Marston called Collaborative Quilting. I have already discovered more quilt ideas to record in my mini notebook by just flippin through a few pages. This week I will study the book further. Thanks girlfriend for such a wonderful May birthday surprise and I will open the birthday card Friday on the big day. Thanks again - you are wonderful.
Since I will not be here tomorrow I want to wish you a happy birthday
I will be stressing out literally. My test stress is tomorrow. I hope you have the best birthday ever and thank you for the fine job that you do as SS mom.
