Wish I used aprons, that's nice.

I need to use an apron when I eat, then maybe all my nice tops wouldn't end up with stains down the front
very nice, I've been looking for a tutorial for adult bibs that are dressy for some of the ladies that used to come to my Friday sit and sew,who are now in assisted living care, I still like to visit them when time allows and take them little gifts.

I need one that doesn't grab me around the neck. Can't use any of hubbs shirts...he's too skinny or I'm too big around?

That's a good one. Now where do we find how they did it? I just might save some shirts from deconstruction ala Bonnie Hunter to do this.

looking at the pic again...seems like pocket was removed from te front and added to what was the back of the shirt...collar and sleeves removed, and bias binding added in their place...oh how I'd love to see the back

Just was thinking about that Kentucky...wonder if it still buttons. Seems like the sleeves would make ties....
just looked through the book...there are several apron patterns, but nothing looks like this...guess we're on our own.

In the comment section following the apron blog post, Amy says... " The instructions for the apron are in the January chapter of Vintage Notions." If you have the book, maybe you can find it there. Good Luck!

OK! I'll look again!
It is! I didn't recognize it! The pictures are small and minimal and the instructions are wordy. It will take some study. Gulp.

Yeah! I clicked on so many links I thought might lead to it, but kept getting nowhere. When I finally saw the comments to the blog post, I really hoped it was finally the right track.
