We use FQ, jelly roll, etc. Here is a chart that explains the sizes.



Name Size
Fat Quarter 18" x 22"
Fat Eighth 9" x 22"
Honey Bun 1 ½" wide strips
Jelly Roll 2 ½" wide strips
Turnover 6" half-square triangles
Dessert Roll 5" x 44" strips
Charm Pack 5" squares
Layer Cake 10" squares
Bricks 5" x 9 1/2"

I wonder why fat eighths are always 9 x 22 and not 11 x 18.

Kay, Now if you can find some patterns for fat eighths at 11x18 someone will probably produce them.
