The attached photo and the next two are of a quilt I just finished. This quilt was made for one of the ladies in my charity quilt group. She has had a difficult time dealing with the loss of her husband two years ago. Up until this January she still had all his belongings and the all the objects that were at the memorial service set up in the living room. We had a heart to heart and I offered to make her a simple quilt out of her husbands shirts once she started going through things. I will present her with the quilt in the morning at our meeting. She has been doing much better and seems to be moving forward.

Your friend has a very special friend in you. That quilt will be a source of comfort for her on those very lonely days.
