I went to a class today at my LQS. Cheryl Barnes was there to do a class on 'THE FUN OF FINISHING"
I took a quilt top that was sent to me to quilt for the QUILTING FOR IKE CHARITY that Quiltaholic started.
She hung it up in front of the class and spent 15 minutes showing me all the wonderful designs and different ways this quilt could be quilted.
She also told me that if I picked out the pattern that I wanted to put on this quilt she would give it to me at cost. That would be her contribution to Ike. I thought that was so nice of her.
She has a lot of nice designs and notions that was really cool.
We had a wonderful class and I really learned a lot. I do not free motion but she made me want to try it.
I will be forwarding my savings on to the Ike relief funds.
