I am hosting a new mugrug swap. what is a mugrug? a mugrug is bigger than a coaster, much smaller than a placemat, big enough for a cup and a treat. here is a link to get u started. lots of tutorials if u scroll on down. mine usually measure 6 x 9", give or take

Theme: Up and Down.

Design a mugrug of things that are up such as: balloons, kites, flowers -OR- things that are down such as: fish, plantings, moods.

Good heavens Patsy, you are fast. I can't start on mine until next week. We have family visiting this weekend so I had to clean up my dining room/sewing area.

well since i have retired i have time to do alot of things i couldn't do before. but gosh the day goes by so fast. but i'm loving retirement. i'm a happy camper now!

Paus if you WANT this cat it can be arranged she is almost 12 years old and has been at Sean Casey Animal Rescue for almost one whole year. She is very sweet, curls up in my lap when I go over a couple of times a week to socialize the cats. she came in with a hoarder load of 30 cats and is the last one left. She had to have a lot teeth out but the ones she has left are now in great shape after 4 hours of surgery! She will make someone a sweet pet for the 3-6(ish) years she has left.

Ohhhh, Kiwi, she would sooooo fit into my life. I guess no one wants her because she is older but that would be so great for me.

I lost my kitty, a 12 yo New Years Eve. And am hesitant about getting a new kitten, though my heart does belong with cats. I've been lucky that my two kitties were long lived but I'm getting elder so am being cautious about my pets.

She is soooo pretty, I hope you can find someone for her.

You're stumped, Mandy??? And you came up with this theme?????? I have such a good idea, I even bought fabric to do it; not working from my stash. lolllll

Whoops, forgot to mention, Mandy. Wiley and I just exchanged mug rugs a month ago. I don't mind doing another for her if she don't mind getting another from me. But thought I'd mention it.

I always wonder about questions like this. I am into whatever you come up with. I love everything!!!!

If you want some hints....I love cats, dogs, food, music and nature. I don't do techie stuff, not into sports, like mod just not a lot of it. My home is eclectic, basically dark green but with lots of other colors. I'm a traditionalist in furnishings with touches of whimsy here and there. I drink tea and hot chocolate, water and Pepsi, never coffee.

I am pretty open to your imagination. I know I'll love it without seeing it. I trust your judgment.

Paus - sorry you lost a cat on new years. It's always hard. And i know what you mean about timing for cats. We just got a kitten that was rescued out of the hurricane, had her from 3 days old (i had the young mama and 3 siblings too as fosters) but if she lives as long as my other cats have, I will be 60!!

I got it!!! Its super cool Love the ocean so very nice one for me. I will post a pic in a week or so. Not sure where the camera cord is right now. I started yours last night, hoping to finish it wednesday.
