It looks like Mississippi had very damaging tornados last night. I am not sure who all is there but know we have some members.

Please check in and let us know your status.

Sending prayers for all involved.

We are OK, just a lot of rain. I think the tornados were mostly south of us, I don't who we have in that part of the state except SueB and EKBuckeye who's close by in Louisiana. Hopefully they'll check in here pretty quick.

Hope everyone is safe and all the ladies check in when they can. I hope it's not headed my way.

That tornado that hit Hattiesburg was a biggie and caused a lot of damage. We left retreat earlier than usual yesterday, just in case of flooding (since it's in the middle of nowhere and no wi-fi for weather reports), but just a few showers yesterday, with heavier rain today and more forecast for tomorrow. DH even had me drive his truck to retreat over the weekend in case the rain was heavy and washed out parts of the gravel road, but we got lucky.

About 4-5 hours south of me. I heard it tore up the University of Southern MS campus pretty badly.

We just had cold rain and more windy than usual for us but nothing damaging.

We are down here in Columbia Mississippi for the winter and had the tornado come through our front yard. Our house is ok but our neighbor lost his roof, shed and carport. The damage in Hattiesburg is pretty bad according to the news here. It's a miracle no one was killed.

I hope all our daily ups and downs are with needle and thread.
