DD#1 and I had a lovely visit with Malou and her hubby. Both of them are fun. Then DD and I went to Cleveland to attend Bouchercon (mystery writers convention). We came home with about 40 books, most of them free and signed by the authors. There was a raffle and for $20 worth of tickets I won 4 prizes, one of which was a character naming. DD won the prize in the rock and roll trivia quiz. So we had a great time. If you like to read I reccommend you attend one as you get to listen to the author's thinking processes in panel discussions. Next year it is in Albany, NY in September. Glad I retired so I can do lots of fun stuff. This message has been edited. Last edited by: TerryOH,

Glad you had fun! I loved the time that I spent with Malou and Don in Branson! I bet you had some toffee too!
My awesome journal cover from Branson was made by Malou AND I had a great time at Malou's Cafe!!! Thanks so much for you & DH's hospitality in Branson! It was really great to get to meet you face to face!!!
You're welcome Terry, WQFC & toryam! It was nice having you and DD visit Terry and we both enjoyed it. Congrats on all the winning and freebies you got at the convention! As far as Branson, what fun we had hosting whomever wandered into the 'Cafe`'! It was nice getting to relax a bit and chat with fellow COFers!
