Q, I love it & I had not seen it before. Marie did a great job on it.

I had been looking for my pics of a witch I had made. I had to dig through my FB messages to find it because I could not find it on my computer. I made this from a kit & gave it as a gift to a family member.

My apologies, my drawing software has gone on the fritz and this is the best I can do with my photos without posting them individually. But I hope you get the gist of them.

Now this is what is currently on my sewing table. I just have to add the leaves and put it together. Lotsa time before Halloween, right?

For those that did the 'What kind of Quilter are you?" quiz....seeee how I combined my two styles of quilting for this. lollllll

Oh my goodness, Pause that is beautiful! Is this a kit or an original design? I love it, thanks for sharing. Thanks also for sharing your Halloween pics with us. I remember those pumpkins with the long legs from a few years ago. I think Shauna (Crafty) did several of them. I like your variety of projects, thanks again for sharing.

So how about everyone else? Are you making something for Halloween this year, or have you made something for a previous Halloween that you would like to share?

Evelyn, I love your framed artwork. I see beautiful things like this & I want to own an embroidery machine, but then I remind mself that I haven't mastered the sewing machine yet. PS love the expressions on your bean bag owls.

Gracie, great pumpkin quilt. Are those faces appliqued on? I am thinking I could make one of these & hang it on a blank wall for October month. Hmmm. Also love your bathroom accesories! Where did you find that lovely orange towel set?

L.L.... Don't forget....you only have 46 days...lol

"Mastered the sewing machine"????? I want all the toys and I don't want to use and enjoy them. My newest toy is a new car. I bought it two weeks ago and continue to drive my old one...it's got so many buttons it's frightening. It doesn't even have a key and it recognizes my voice! Talk about something scary coming my way!

My craft group made these candy bowls last year.

Those Halloween banners are great & so easy to fold & put away each year. I like that.

I wanted to ask about the witch towels. How do they hang up, or is there a back piece that drapes over an oven door handle or doortop? I think I might try one of those as I can use the pattern I have from the legs portion of my witch kit.

I have made the kitchen towel dresses like Pause has shown above, but I never thought to use holiday theme fabric before. Maybe I can make one of those & attach a set of witchy legs.

Oh dear, my want to do list is getting longer & longer with each post.

Your mug rugs look so good on the table, especially with the matching mug. super job.

Love those little sitting characters! How did you attach the heads? The heads are pumpkin trick or treat pails aren't they? It looks to me like you & your group have some wonderful fun. Very productive group too.

I covered some styrofoam balls with cheesecloth and added some googly eyes for a mummy. Put some black tape on the ball before wrapping so the eyes show up. Lay them out on your table and watch your friends' reaction. LOL

The sucker covers are felt. Fast to stitch out. All ages seem to like them.

The candy dishes are the plastic bowls from WalMart. They have a hole in the bottom and we drilled a screw through it and used a washer to stabilize it to the 4x4 piece of wood used for the body. Sits stable that way and can be unscrewed if you want. I've hunted for plastic Santa or Elf head bowls but didn't find any. Some women wanted Cowboy football fabric and others got the local college team fabric. When you have a group os nine crafters we can get a lot done together.

Can't find the big quilts I've made. I'm so bad about not photographing finished projects. I get so excited to give them away. You also asked about costumes. Here's the easy one my DD wore last year with her sign. Sadly some of the guests didn't know about Rosie. Too young!

This is one of my favorite Halloween costume memories. My son was a senior. He left for college and then the USAF. My DD doesn't remember him ever living at home. Sadly she doesn't remember that he was a wonderful big brother and always treated her as a princess.

SandyO, I can see why thhat would be one of your favorite quilts. You did a great job with it & I love the variety of halloween fabrics you used & how they got scattered using that method. Lovely.

Thanks Evelyn for all the crafting info. I know it will be a great help to me & others who will want to make something they see & like here.

Nice pics of your family. Our own Nancy would love DDs costume. On the last pic I see on the mantle the ceramic pumpkin...is that the same one as seen on your hall tablerunner? You must have had that a long time. I really like it.

WOW!!!!!

Evelyn, I recognize that hallway table. You couldn't fool me by taking the picture from the other side. lollll I think it's great that you have a place to show off your fabulous projects!!!!! My favorite is the witch's skirts. What a riot!!!

Sandy, what a great idea for stack and whack!!

Gracie. Love your Bates Motel motif. lolllll And I've always wanted to do a similar pumpkin quilt.

I like this thread, Lens. We can show off the fun things we do. Thanx for starting it.

ETA: You asked about my latest project, Lens, I did my usual copy of someone else's but modified it. By all means, pick up some holiday towels or fabrics and make the oven door towels. Neat little decor for the kitchen without much work. And Yeppers, Crafty and I made those pumpkins the same year. lollll GMTA is what happened.

The best part about this message board is all the photos and the sharing. The nice things said sure make it sweet too.

I made four more bean bags and I'm stopping. I just realized I have zero clue how many are needed.I don't think I've ever played it. Thinking I might make some with cinnamon and cloves inside for autumn decor though. I could add them to my collection of crocheted owls that my cat and I fight over. LOL

I don't know if it will work out the same way as Evelyn's witches but here's a towel pattern for those lovely legs.

http://www.babylock.com/ftp/pr...20Witch%20Towels.pdf

I think if I were going to make it I wouldn't do the stuffing, just make the pattern with some batting between and stitch them. What say you, Evelyn?

Love the wagon wall hanger. Got it marked in my idea folder. LOVE the mantle piece. I've got several orphan blocks, lots of Halloween scraps, and a 14 foot mantle. Those bats are perfect. Now I'm going to steal block ideas and make me one. Wonder if I could make it reversible with Thankgiving on the back. TFS

Revised the witch towels a bit and made elf towels for friends for the holidays. Today I'm trying to adapt the witch's boot to make a larger version for a friend. She has two big pots on her front porch and is going to stuff pairs of tights too look like Witch's legs stuck upside down in the pots. Just need some shoes for them. She's got striped tights and dowel rods. Now for the boots! LOL

Here is a wallhanging a few years back that I made before I knew much about quilting and needlework. Wish I had made the stars from some other fabric, but I didn't. Hope I can get the picture to post. - Anngee
