Sorry ladies, I got kicked off w/ Quiltslots. Maybe this thing will run better...we'll see.

Now where were we...oh yeah... open up the ironed fold and satin stitch just to the pin on each side. This is so it doesn't ravel when you thread the cord thru.

Re-fold and stitch as close to the {inside} folded as you can.

Now, pin the edge an sew ONLY to the fold...leaving it open so you can thread the cord for the drawstring.

Set this aside. You need to make the hanger for the carabiner now. {it's easier if you wait to sew the side seam until after you've made the hanger...but I jump a step again...} :-O

lolllll The problem with your editing, is I was keeping up with you and now I have to edit my copy. lolllll

I don't have any chocolate with me tonight, per se, but I'm trying a new Chex snack I found at the store. Peanut butter and chocolate "Muddy Buddies". I don't taste the peanut butter, but I do taste the chocolate and they are crunchy.

Set this aside and get your 3.5"x3.5" muslin for the bottom...sew the selvages to it just like you did the main part.

Then draw a 3 1/4" circle & cut out bottom. Zig-zag the edges.

Open the cover and fold the other way....pin. You should now hae 3 pins...use the seam for center instead of pinning.

I like these Muddy Buddies but I like Chex in any case; I like the crunch. I keep a zip lock bag of a trail like mix in my car for muchies and Chex figures heavily in the mix. That, and lotsa nuts. Diabetic survival.

Seems as if we lost our teacher again. At least I've gotten caught up with my copying.

This is a good pattern; I"m enjoying it.

Line up the pins that are in the circle w/ the pins in the bottom of the cover.

Ease the edges together and pin around circle some more.

KS, did you see the thread I posted earlier? Having survived the Legos/Bionicle period of my DGSs lives, I posted about a play mat that is for sale but I'm sure could be made for the tiny toys play time. There's a drawstring that allows you to throw all the pieces in the mat and just pull it closed, keeping everything in its' own little bag.

How old is Caleb? Is he old enough for the Bionicles. They are some kind of fun.

Those Legos are the best. I love those kind of toys. My sons used them, my DGSs, and I hear my DGGSs are going that way also. They can amuse themselves for hours, and hours.

Nice that Caleb thinks of his Mom when he's playing.

When I last visited my DGSs, they have evolved into computer stuff and they have a drawing software that is unbelievable!!!! It's for drafting game videos. Anyway, they drew a house, with rooms furnished and displayed and lots of gardens for Gramma.

Just tickles you when they do stuff like that, doesn't it?

Oops, I'm sorry. Hi, KBlue.
