The blocks are looking great! I'm so far behind in things...having a real hard time right now with my fatigue. I'm trying to stay up to speed on swaps and writing committments I've promised to other folks...and my own desires...like finishing this challenge block for May and June are at the end of the list.
Isn't that the way we always do...put out own things last? Hope to have some energy to get moving soon.
Changed doctors...and tests are underway and some completed. We'll see how that all goes in a couple of weeks or so. Don't give up on me...just have to get where I can think straight to sew a decent block.
Hugs to all...

Kathy, sure hope that your energy level comes back up. Meanwhile, take it easy and one day at a time. The next time someone encroaches on your "me time" say I can't right now, but check with me in a few months and maybe I can help. Ts & Ps for you. Aren't you coming to retreat? I'll be happy to meet you. Pat
Got my block done and so far this is my favorite block!! But in checking thru my other blocks, find I missed a month so will be catching up with that one.
But here is my June block.

Fishingwidow, SD Granny, your blocks are really neat looking. This is a fun BOM, I'll be in Canada fishing when the new block comes out so I bet Sue will have hers all done by the time I get home!!
Have to agree... you've outdone yourselves with the block this month. All the fabrics are just gorgeous. I love how everyone is making these blocks their own.
Brava for your creativity, ladies, and for stepping out of your comfort zone!

Just looking at all the great blocks this month! And everyone flying geese are going south but mine are reversed so I guess they are lost and flying north.

Now, Mary... your geese are fine! It's summer, you know, so your geese are perfect in the north. Maybe by winter, there will be some MORE geese in our blocks that will "fly south."
Oh my...more beautiful blocks. I agree, I do like this month's block even if it is taking me forever to complete it....almost done. Maybe another 1/2 hour but my feet and eyes were done for today. Coming here to see everyone else's is such a pleasure!

Here is my June block 3. Theme-flag, stars and stripes. Did outside borders 3", so they could go all the way around and the block will match the two previous months.

I just love what I've been seeing. Everyone is so creative with their colors and blocks. I hope to get back to this BOM and Funky Chicken and Scraps Challenge real soon when I can cut back on my garden chores with crops in full swing. Keep up the good work.
Ladies, the blocks are absolutely beautiful! What gorgeous quilts these will make! Surely will be fun to see the fashion show of quilts together later...amazing how different they will all be from the same pattern!
Sew happy I love your spots of color placement.I was sure you would find the right spot for them in your block. Your quilt is going to be beautiful with all those bright spots.
Main June block is finished, I have some catching up to do adding the small blocks to several months!!!This message has been edited. Last edited by: CQwannabe,
Very pretty - good to know I'm not the only one "behind" I still have to do February and the small blocks for two of the other months. And here it is almost July already!!

I'm so behind, I'm meeting myself coming & going. At this point, I honestly do not know when I will be able to catch up. Huge annual pool party coming up in 4 wks that takes a lot of prep, then 2 wks later I leave for a T-Bird group trip to New England for a few weeks - also a lot of prep for that. I have 5 quilts that HAVE to be done before October/November. I'm taking on too many projects, obviously. There aren't enough hours in the day. Oh - and you don't want to see my sewing room right now, let alone my house! So far behind, so far behind...
AND WHY IS MY AVATAR SHOWING UP SO DAGONE HUGE??? I can't fix it!This message has been edited. Last edited by: islandtime,

As for avatars Elle~ hgtv seems to have a problem. I tried re-sizing mine to make it smaller, but it still came out too big, so I opted for one of theirs until they can get things fixed.
Okay...here is June! Woot! Woot! Got May done too...posted to blog as that string is long gone now. Maybe I should jump right into July tomorrow since I'm on a roll!
