this one is warm wishes and the picture does not do justice to the colors. it is bright pink, orange, green with a paler purple. The print is circles in circles in those colors. The pink border is on all four sides-I am not the photographer in my family.

I finished quilting my "cheater" quilt. Bought a piece of fabric at a yard sale 2 or 3 years ago.. is a blue and white log cabin print. It will go on the sofa where the grandkids can mess with it. Have to find binding and then I'm done. Picture next week. Nice quilts May Baby.

Great progress & quilts May Baby! The colors don't always come out the best on some of the things I post either.
I am cleaning off my ironing board and making crumb blocks from all the leftovers from the string blocks I made for the CYOC exchange. Somehow everything ends up on the ironing board so I am cutting up the bits and pieces and sewing them up. Did finish a doll quilt that I needed to sew around the edges, turn and quilt. No picure yet, will post later... ChrisThis message has been edited. Last edited by: cksvett,

I have 24 blocks made for my DGD's quilt. Now I just have to get them sewed. I will show pictures tomorrow. My DH and I went to the Fair on Friday, I went to the quilt show and was a little disapointed in it. there wasn't a lot of outstanding quilts. I also on August 23 went to the Pacific West Quilt Show. All of the quilts were great I have some pictures I will post them as soon as I can get them out of my phone. We just have to put up the backsplash and touch up some of the paint and seal the granet counter tops. It looks real nice. Now to find new places for every thing. I still have some boxes to unpack.

If I would get busy like Maybaby I bet there are 100+ possible stash quilts in my stash closet!
I am working on a dress for DGD. It is so easy...should be sewn up in 2-3 hours. I am on hour 5. LOL Garment construction is not as easy as it once was. I made 90% of my clothing and much of my DSs when he was little. I sewed for nieces and even sewed for the public. I could put in a zipper before you could bat your eyes. I am soooo glad this jumper does not have a zipper!!!
No sewing for me this week. Been doing a little knitting instead. I made another cozy for my other water jug. Trial and error, I added a few extra stitches and an extra dozen rows. My problem with felting is I never know how much it's going to shrink down. Kind of ***** not having a pattern to follow but I guess that's how I learn. I'm very pleased with the end results, I now have a perfect fit.
Mary Lou, are the fans going to scallops for the edge of the quilt? On my monitor it looks like batting on the edge and the edges of the fans do not look like they are quilted. This quilt is beautiful.
