I just want to say how nice everyone is and I really appreciate the people who say supportive things, encourage me, take the time to teach me quilty things, who send me things, and for all of the inspiration.

I have continued to have contact with my daughter. It is a miracle. Quilting (or sewing) is a nice way to show affection and spend time for or with someone.

So just saying thanks!

Ali, that's such great news to hear this time of year. Sounds like DD is growing up and, hopefully, losing that rebel streak.

I'll add my thanks to everyone here for their encouragement and inspiration.

I'll post a picture of my DD later today. I am thankful for the board members here and thankful she is speaking to me. She is supposed to move away with him next summer so that worries me since he doesn't like us, but one day at a time. No point in thinking that far ahead.

Great news! Maybe they won't move that far away. Maybe she might NOT move with him!
