Been busy the last couple days - quilting done!!

That's a very good question. Especially since I thought I only had two more to go and then to find four more. I actually had started to use them in one block and changed my mind. Somehow they got buried and forgotten.

I am happy to report entry number four has arrived.

Only five more weeks to go, let's see a show of hands. Who has their top done?

Not me - close but no cigar. I do hope to have it done by the weekend.

Hand up! It's even basted... But that's it.

My hand's not up yet. But I plan to make the deadline. The top is approximately 62.75 % complete. (Wink.)

That last piece looks very technical! I am scared!

Hand waaaay down. Not even started (unless you count sorting into light, medium & dark piles!)

Some people work better under presser. Good luck girls. That last peek was way over the top. I have no idea what to make of it. I did go back into the previous years and looked at some ideas you all had. I am blown away every time I do that. I don't think I even come close to the last place winner... You are amazing quilters.

I have a very simple phase to do, and just not had time to give it any attention.

School starts Monday, D*** Jane has all of her blocks quilted, so just needs borders and sashing done, and oh yeah, there's a retreat challenge clamoring for attention.

• • • Sadly, yesterday was not as productive as I had hoped, but I did make progress. Unfortunately, I have to work tonight, so no sewing today. Luckily, I do not have to work tomorrow which means I can sew all day.

This peek is a little blurry, but you still get the idea.

Got the original squares cut into the smaller pieces I need....so, there's that.

• • • I woke up with an icky sore throat this morning. Haven't been too productive yet, but it is starting to subside. I really want to have my top done TODAY.

There are still quite a few who haven't chimed in yet. Please let us know how you are doing.

Only 34 more days to finish.

Quilting begun.

Every year I am amazed by the different masterpieces created from the same squares of fabric. These last 3 peeks are just a small taste of the variety of treasures being created. WOW!

• • • Well, my top is put together. Just need to add a few finishing touches. Once that is done, then I have to finish the COF challenge and then I can start quilting this.

Where did the time go? Less than a month to go. How many are going to make it?

Just a note to say all the peeks look interesting!

I have not started yet, as summer really got in the way this year.....Oh well, I do work well under pressure so not giving up yet.......

I didn't know if I'd get my challenge quilt made this year, my mojo seemed to abandon me...but I got started today. Four day weekend, so I hope to make some good progress.

I have rows completed; hope to finish top this weekend and take to quilter probly after my county fair which is the week after this. I'm moving right along.

But, I need to switch projects so I can finish my COF Challenge. And, I have to find the legs for my extension table.

I found a few more peeks, but they're getting slim. Please send me more peeks - especially if you haven't already. Need some new stuff. Now that there are only 28 more days to get your quilts done, I would like to try to post a new peek daily (if possible)

I switched to my COF challenge too. Whew! I'm glad that is done. Oh and my Scraps to Treasures is ready for quilting too. Hooray. Will get you a picture as soon as I can.

Jean, emailed my quilt pix to you...

I have a question about the fabrics we sent in. I know we can use our leftovers from cutting the original squares. In the instructions I see no more than 12" of leftover fabrics...am I right in thinking this is 12" by WOF?

Better late than never, I'm working on it...

yes elsie, 12" x WOF. And don't forget, you can also use whatever was left of the rows that you cut the squares from!

LOVE that peek! If I ever get mine finished ( started ) mine will be a little boring compared to some of these peeks!

Thanks Angela, I was hoping that's how it is. These peeks are too cool! I'd be better off not seeing them, makes me wonder what I'm doing here... It's fun though, so thats why I'm here. ; )

Wow! There are some amazing peeks. I am working on my project today and hope to make good progress this week .
